Great article. Yes, the delay isn't the most perfect solution. Far from it. But everyone on these boards has based their reaction solely on how it would affect poker players. But poker is a business, just like the NFL is a business. If the bottom line isn't being met, if poker as a whole is waning in popularity like it is, something must change. In 2004, a lot of the attraction to the new player watching the WSOP Main Event week to week was the mystery. Back then, not everyone checked a site like p5 every day. Well, after one night of trying the point thing, it's working out. I just took 20th out of 950 or so in the 50/50 for $260 on a freeroll. I doubt that chip set was worth $100. And I still got 13,000 points left.

The Brawl has been cursed for me.. Used to play it all the time, but get coolered around the bubble every time. Love the 750k, though. Right now sitting 5/267 in the 50/50 from points.. Trying to keep it going.

I took some of these suggestions.. Won my way into the 2500 FTP 108 seat guarentee on Saturday to the 750k in a 500 point MTT. Also played and won a 1200 point SnG to the 50/50 tonight, where I'm 32/299 going into second break. If I cash there, hopefully I can work that into a bankroll of some sort again. And of course I'm saving up some points for stress balls.

Best use of 15,000 FTPs?
I took all my money off of Full Tilt a few months ago, needed it in real life. I had been saving up for a Full Tilt chip set with my points, but now that I don't have any money left there, I was thinking about trying to qualify for some tournaments and see where that gets me. So what's the best use of 15,000 FTPs'

On day 1, was the guy wearing a black shirt' I played day 1, and there was a guy going crazy a couple times at a table close to me. Middle aged guy, black shirt, I think sunglasses..

Re(5): WSOP Circuit - Atlantic City
I played the $300+40 yesterday, and when I registered at 10:30, there was about a 10 minute wait. Not bad at all. But I walked by again around 11:30, and there was a huge line. So don't wait until the last minute, get there a little early and then grab some lunch upstairs before the event. I finished about 450th out of 1100 or so yesterday. JJ < AK and 77 < AQ to the same guy. GG me.

FTP Sat ends after tourney starts
Has this ever happened to anyone else' I was in a $100+9 satellite for the HORSE FTOPS Event #3. I didn't already have an entry to it, so i figured I'd give this a shot as a last chance. Getting towards the money, the field was holding steady, with the top 11 getting entry and 12th getting $115. Well, Event 3 started at 9, and 12th place wasn't eliminated until 9:05. So instead of getting the entry, I got the $535 deposited directly to my account. I'm not entirely disappointed, I guess.. Money is money. But if they guarentee seats to a tournament, doesn't it seem like they should be awarded ...
