Re(3): Big hand in middle stages of MTT I think a good raise is 2400-3000 not 2000 Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Big hand in middle stages of MTT Well what are you trying to accomplish by reraising preflop' If your trying to take it down there then the raise is way too small. I prefer a call or even a fold. I like the lead out obv following up with your reraise preflop after the minraise tho I think you have to decide whether or not you are going to continue...shove or fold imo. As played on the turn you definately have some fold equity with the A being a scare card plus it gives you 4 more outs. I think the big thing though is preflop. You put in a milking raise with J10' That just seems a little weird to me. Nice pot. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): First hand of SNG...Should be easy fold right? as played i think you have to call...55 and 88 seem like realistic possibilitys but an overpair just as easily be an AK at this level... fwiw 67 doesnt make much sense either since he had raised pre flop on the first hand of the sng...just my 2 cents. Re(2): TT after minraise in 5.50$MTT 5000$ GTD PS. I love the reraise and I hate the call...if you call the initial preflop raise you will be folding a winning hand to much and calling with a losing hand to much after the flop. Reraise and fold to the shove. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Hand Discussion instacall and win the coinflip. You are playing to win and if you lose you will still be a top 4 stack. You need every chip in the tourney to win and folding AK to a shove there isnt ganna work. It will almost always be a coinflip or AQ so I would call and take the race. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): playing QQ, what did I do wrong? Let's look at this hand street by street. preflop your raise is too small with 2 limpers in there I think 100 is the right size especially when you are going to be out of position for the rest of the hand. On the flop there is an ace on board and you are against 3 opponants. You can bet here if you want, my personal choice is to check/fold oop with the A on board. The odds are someone is holding an A and will not fold. With your 70 bet preflop, there is now 230 in the pot. If you are going to bet 200 is the minimum here. On the turn...well we got called on the flop with the A on the board, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Help $100 max im fairly sure hes not shoving 70 into 20 with a set or AK. You could be up against KcQc but it just seems that the villian would lead out a standard 15 bet on the flop and 3 bet all in if you CR. I've seen this play with KK by the donks at 100nl so I think you can call and expect to be ahead a good bit of the time. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): I have to call here right? yeah I instacalled and he had TT which had me almost in shock and I bricked...but a buddy of mine told me that I should have cut my losses after the 3 bet and i disagreed and said I just have to go broke in that spot. Oh well such is life Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): I have to call here right? well with my style of play that raise works fine for me. I try to play postflop when I can and normally if theyre ganna fold for 3.5 they will fold for 2.5. That is at least what I have noticed. But your advice is noted, thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I have to call here right? Approaching the bubble of the 33 5k guarentee on stars I have about 13k and blinds are 300/600. Folds to me OTB and I make it 1600 with AsJx and only the bb calls. The board come Js10s6s. The bb leads out 1500 and I make it 4500 and he shoves. Do I have to stack off here with TPTK and NFD' He has me covered by about 3k and I have a very aggressive table image. Seems to me that he reraises JJ and TT preflop and obv any overpair. So I'm really only worried about JT 66 and a flush, and maybe even KQ with a spade as well. Just curious how others would play the hand. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
