FTP Answers 5/5
FTP Doug, Hi, thanks for the update. I don't blame Full Tilt at all as long as we get our money back. This is mostly on the DOJ's back. How can they fuck a whole industry when their leader isn't even sure if poker is a game of skill or not' I do have a question regarding playing outside of the US. Could you please clarify what you mean when you said you need a "photo id"' Can this be your US passport or drivers license' Something like a Costco card from that country with your address from that country on it' Does it have to state that you are a citizen of that country' Please be as specific ...

Good strategy for a live re-buy tourney
I'd shove any two broadway, any pair, and any suited connector bigger than 67+ 810s etc. during the first 90 minutes. Or something like that. Be tighter from early position if you must. Just a ridiculous all in pre open or 3bet jam. Get that first double up and go to an almost normal range. Who cares if you get all in and only have 34% equity when chips now are 50% off' This would still be a winning situation, even for a neutral ev player. Pay close attention to who is shoving light and try to call them with a slightly better range. Unless you already have more than 2x opening chips, then ...

Skallagrim: Federal Law and Your Poker Money
It seems to me like the PPA should be putting out some fund drive stuff. If we ever needed funds to fight the legal/political battle the time would be now. If we could get 50% of our enrolled membership to put in an average of even 10 bucks, that would be a huge amount of money. We could bring in even more great lawyers to work full time on the fight. It might be a matter of fight it now before they establish some sort of precedent that could last for many years. Thanks to all those like skallagrim fighting the fight.

Re:SNG 3 handed
Some people resteal a lot, some don't. If this is the guys first reraise i think it is a close call. Otherwise it's an insta call for me. When you said he was aggeressive it was a no brainer, then you later said it was his first reraise so that is very different here. Has he seen you fold to a reraise yet' That and how often you have been raising lately are probably the 2 other most pertinent q's. If your raise percentage is over about 18 percent i insta call as well.

Re:S. 3616, the Internet Skill Game Licensing and Control Act of 2008
Excessive gaming habits' Well that pretty much describes any online poker pro. I wonder what the fall out of this could be' Hopefully they wouldn't consider excessive games a problem for winning players.

I´m looking for a State to move to on the West Coast to play online Poker. Any suggestions?
I´d appreciate some feedback on where i should move to play online poker. I am a fairly succesfull poker pro who can´t move back to my home state of Washington. Thanks to their BS rulings i can´t live close to my family in the Bellingham or Seattle area as i had been planning for some time now. I´m thinking of moving to Oregon or California. If i move to Cali i want a town under 150k population on the coast somewhere. I´m really concerned about 2 things. The legislative climate in regards to Poker and the quality of life. Cost of living is a consideration too i guess since i will be making ...

Re(1): What tilts you the most when playing online?
1. Holding a monster starting hand real late in a tourney and getting disconnected after seeing a couple calls or a loose player raise pre flop. (this happened to me one time when i was on the bubble of the 400k on ft needing some more chips) 2. Waitling forever to crush an overly aggressive pre-flop player then taking a bad beat. Like getting them pot commited with your kings preflop then having their a8s hit on the flop. 3. Kicking butt at a final table then taking a bad beat from the only other player that could hurt you. No. 4 would probably be missing an ad-on.
