have them build some paper foundations to see who's foundation can hold the most weight, or who can build the tallest tower using paper and scotch tape, egg holding thing, etc. that sort of stuff is fun. also show them some videos like trebuchets, rube goldbergs, turbines, etc. maybe even give them the treadmill poll huh' also the usual stuff, jobs, what to expect, ya know.

Re:a question about religion for the agnostics and atheists
organized religion is absurd. any religion is absurd. didn't read everything, but bfactor and jennifear seemed to make the smartest statements. saw some awesome stupidity in this thread. if you dont think the big bang is how the universe is created, you are stupid. as for the evolution comments...lol. every religious person should stop being religious. really, think about what you are saying. god' lol. it is no use to talk sense into religious people, it is the reason they are religious in the first place.

Re(2): An Open Letter to the Community and Beyond on Integrity in Poker.
agree. i was indifferent to jj at first b/c he seemed like he wanted to clean up his act, but after saying he will play in the next month if the poker sites won't let him play is ridiculous. it's like he is implying he deserves to play now. "I apologize, no more, can you unban me now' I'm an adult now - i got my morals straight." he also goes against his original "message to the community" in the interview. jj is good at poker but his maturity is really showing. gavin smith is an idiot btw

Re(1): alaska people
it depends on where you are at in alaska. if you are far up north....like the top half, it is going to be light all the time. if you are in the bottom half, it is normal, except in winter when it gets dark at 430 pm until 10 am. its not hard to sleep, youre used of it.
