Brag: 2nd in the ftp 24k gtd Played my first poker tournament in a while 2night and took 2nd place for $3,420. I've been grinding cash games for the last 6 months to pay the bills and busted my roll 2 nights ago at NL50. Not being able to play poker sucked so i played some 1800ftp satellites to win 3 $26 tokens. This 24k gtd was the first tourney i registered in and was a superb result. I really feel my playing cash games helped me with my whole tournament game, especially 3betting ranges. Also props to gbobo780 who made a masive final table comeback from about 3 big blinds to win the thing. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Best way to make $400 a week? Learn from cardrunners. Allow yourself 10buyins minimum at each level. The quickest money you will ever make. I started playing cash games again 2 weeks ago with $160 i had in my account from rakeback, stuck to proper bankroll management and now im at 2.5k and have just moved upto 8 tabling NL100 6-max. I'v played just under 40k hands and played for about 70hours total in the 2 weeks. Also if your playing alot at NL100+ rakeback plays a large part. Obviously dependant on how much you play but its possible to make upto $2k/month just in rakeback. But then again if your new to cash ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Tryin to plug a huge leak in my game... you just need a feel for how the player to your left plays. i used to raise every hand from the SB without fail but now tend to just limp unless i have a hand that i can call a shove with in which case i raise. if the player is over aggressive and raises every time u limp you can trap them easily or just limp reshove on them (but you have to wait a bit to make them think ur just doing it cos your fed up, they will always put you on A rag or 22-66 here also) :D Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): How do you deal with multitable stress? drink green tea, play when you feel awake. don't force yourself into playing if you dont feel your best. i usually play sets of about 800 hands, 12 tabling cash thats about an hour, then take a decent sized break and get something to eat. try not watching hands play out and dont consentrate too much on how much $ your up or down, just making the correct decision. also i take it your cascading 16 tables' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): $400...what to do what to do?!?!?!? ^^ best reply. If you want a second income you have to play over your limit to try and move up a limit. Theres a high chance of going bust then though. But you cant make a "2nd income" playing with correct bankroll management off $400. I would play 6 tables of NL50 or $10/$24 MTT's or $12 SnG's and hope to run good... but thats not what i recommend you do. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
