Re:Requests for PokerStars
I don't play tournies but this tilts me a lot. If you are playing a cash game and have to restart pokerstars for any reason when you log back on your tables stop auto-reloading. I've tried everything to get them to start up again but the only thing I have found is leaving the table and sitting down at new ones.

Re:Anyone else too hyped for UFC??
No that means he has good endurance and a good training plan. If you are talking physical strength then I think Rashard is stronger. He has much more power in his punches then Griffin. I think he also has more core strength that helps with his take downs and take down defense.

Re:Anyone else too hyped for UFC??
Meh I really don't think Forrest is that strong. He is a smart fighter and has good stamina but I think Rashard is much stronger. I think Griffin's best chance to win this fight are through submission or if Evans gasses in the fight towards the later rounds. Forrest has proven he can stand up and bang for 5 rounds, Evans hasn't.

Re:Hey World Of Warcraft Nerds - ERR- cool friends of mine...
Meh I played a bunch last year. Had a human priest I got up to level 60. I never really got hooked like most people. Soloing is alright in the beginning but you will find later on you will need small parties for things like dungeons and harder quests. If you do solo I suggest a hunter they are pretty easy to solo. I highly suggest going online and downloading the questhelper package. It shows you where on the map all the quests are and it will point you in the direction of quests in an order that will let you do them the quickest.

Re:Anyone else too hyped for UFC??
Mir vs. Nog - I think it will probably either be an early TKO or a 3rd round submission for Nog. Once he wears down Mir with his better stand up getting the tap will be ez. Call my crazy but I think regardless of who wins this fight the winner will lose to Brock Lesnar. Forrest vs. Rashard- I think Forrest has very underrated jiu jitsu which might give Rashard a little bit of trouble on the ground. Overall I think Rashard will grind away at Forest with his better stand up and wrestling earning a decision victory. Rampage vs. Wandy - I agree that rampage is much better and wandy is worse. I ...

Probably be a few days before you get this but 1) How do you decide to back a cash game player' If a player is consistantly beating a certain limit over a large sample size do you stake them for that level or do you stake them for a bigger game' Do you stake many purely cash game players' 2) Which MMA fighter in your opinion - Best stand up - Best Jiu Jitsu - Best overall fighter - Favorite fighter(s) - Griffin or Evans'

Re:is it me, or does the set up on full tilt suck
You can change much of the layout to make it easier on multi-tabling. That being said I still find I have an easier time multi-tabling on stars. I also find that if i run HUD with lots of stats it causes ftp to crash very frequently

Re:Set Early In $163 65k vs. Eisenhower1
People call with PP to hit sets and stack players with inferior hands. I have no idea if folding a set in this spot is correct or not because I don't play many mtts or have any idea how the villian plays. I think that if you play any form of deep stack NLHE with the mindset that you are getting your whole stack in when you flop bottom set 100% of the time then it is a leak in your game.

Re:Syracuse Basketball
Syracuse could be really good this year. They are pretty deep this year and Jonny Flynn I think is developing into one of the top point guards in college basketball this year. Much of their success is going to rely on their ability to clean up their game. They are still making a lot of mistakes especially turnovers. They also gotta start better, they wont be able to make those miracle come backs. They are definately a tournament team this year and could make a deep run if things come together for them.

Holliday present for my pops
So a year ago my dad was diagnosed with brain cancer and was given 8 months to live. Its been 12 months and he is in fantastic health with no sign of the cancer returning. He has been the most influential person in my life always supporting me with whatever I did especially poker. Now that I'm older and out of the house I realize how lucky I was to have someone who pushed me enough academically to get into a good school but was never intrusive and always gave me tons of freedom to make my own mistakes. The past few months i have been putting up my most consistent poker results and would ...

Re:any1 else get SILVERSTAR for the first time this month?
I 10-12 table 100nl fr. I have played about 16k hands so far this month and earned about 6k vpps this month. I am going to make a strong push to go supernova next year. At 100nl im guessing it would take about 250k hands throughout the year which is just over 20k a month and definately doable. I've heard the real benefits don't kick in until you hit supernova.

Ill be in and out for a few of the events, I am a local to the area and I have to drive through the city of syracuse on my way to the stone. It's like $50 for a limo from syracuse to tstone if you get it through the casino. Im pretty psyched for the event. I was there yesterday and heard they are predicting 300-400 players for the first event.

Re:Anyone else...
Socialism and communism are not the same thing. You tend to hear more arguments against adding socialist aspects to our country from the middle and upper class. It is easy to say that we should not have socialized health care when you can pay for superior health care. A lot of college students are going to get slapped in the face by the health care issue when the graduate. Fewer and fewer employers are offering health insurance and once you finish your education you are no longer able to be under your parent's health insurance. Lots of people feel the pinch in the years between college ...

Re:Top online pro Annette_15 OMGClayAiken - Do they use online poker tools?
I use PT3 and the PAHUD that comes with it. I am mostly a cash game player. Its definately more then worth the investment. I would have to say its paid for itself many times over. When you sit at a live table its much easier to keep track of each individuals playing style and tendancies. But you only have 8 or 9 other people to remember. When you are 8+ tabling you have 64 other players you have to keep track of and there is no way anyone can do that. Does anyone here use Spadeit or table tracker or one of those types of programs' Are they worth the investment'

Try downloading a program like SNGEGT. It will help you figure out which are profitable spots to shove and which are profitable spots to call.

Re:Turning Stone
Games are ok. On weekdays usually nothing bigger than a 5/5 500max game runs. On weekends they usually run a 5/10 1kmax game. There really isnt anything to do there except play poker, gamble, golf and food. If you rent a car your not too far from the baseball hall of fame(1 hour drive i think). You can bring alcohol and no one ever gives you a hard time about it as long as your not drinking out of the bottle on the floor.

Re:Disagreement about stats for 6-max NLHE
While adjustments do need to be made per each individual table after a large enough sample size it will round around an average number. I do think there is a perfect number but I think that number is different for each persons playing style. Some people can have a 30/20/3 and be a winner. I think you should be always be willing to adjust your stats in order to become more profitable. Someone with a 35 vpip and a 5pfr regardless of abilities will not be a winning player in a 6 max game regardless of post flop skill.

Disagreement about stats for 6-max NLHE
I just started grinding 6-max NL. I have been 8 tabling 50NL and after a few sessions my stats are 24/15/3.5 I got into a disagreement with a friend about the gap between my vpip and pfr. I have read some articles that said my numbers with the exception of my AF which might be too high were the standard for a winning player. My friend says that the gap between the two stats is way to big and that my vpip and pfr should be much much closer like 21/18/3.5. Just curious if any of the more experienced 6-max players could clarify this. Thanks,
