OVERLAY at the bottom of the hour
at 2:30 am eastern there is a Sunday 500 double shootout sat on Stars. Normally this tourney gets cancelled because of a lack of sign-ups. If we get 20 people in, the tourney will run and will likely have a $400ish overlay. Check it out.

overlays on stars within 20 minutes
The Sunday Warmup Sat at 22minutes after the hour The Sunday 500 Sat at 30minutes after the hour. Lately they have been cancelled. (there is a 20 player minimum) If they do run - there are 2 seats guaranteed. Usually a pretty good overlay Don't miss out.

This same tourney keeps getting cancelled. Minimum is 20 players If the min is hit - 2 $500 seats are guaranteed. Usually is a 400 overlay. Starts at the bottom of the hour. (approx 45 minutes)

I know it is stupid to alert about overlays - but the last two weeks the tourney has been cancelled because there were not enough people registered. 27 DS on stars starts in less than 10 minutes

My brush with fame... Thursday (yesterday) edition
Yesterday, I was walking through the Maple Ridge Community Theatre to pick my daughter up. I was delayed in getting to where I wanted to go because some movie crews were there. They were shooting a scene and were holding back pedestrians. Once the scene was done and a voice yelled “cut,” they let us through and I actually was for a moment face to face with Steven Seagal. A flash of how thrilled I was as a teen leaving the theatre after watching Under Siege 2 zapped through my mind. I wanted to say something, but couldn’t think of anything to say that wouldn’t make me look like a total fool ...

American Idol Finale - rec'd an in studio audience invite
We are American Idol fans. (There, I've said it.) Earlier this year we put our names on the AI waiting list for in-studio seats at the tv tapings. We hoped that it would somehow work out that we might be able to go to the taping when we took our kids to Disneyland for Spring Break. Obv. we didn't hear anything at the time.
