I agree he is a rat...thats a kind word for him actually. But FT and PS ruined online poker when they called the Feds to investigate his theft from them....Were they really stupid enough to think that was going to end well'

Might want to ck the turnout before you try the non Holdems.. Probably be little more than a 4 or 5 table SNG. I seem to recall 50-70 players usually in these events and i dont expect any large turnouts for this 1 at all. 15% rake up to 25% on some of the smaller tournys and as of a few days ago there still was no structure sheets available even inside the poker room..Im sure they are out by now but i would have said that 3 weeks ago also.

I do play there....not a lot because i mostly play tournys and Omaha cash games and the selection of those there are not that great. Not to mention i usually lose everything i win in the poker room in the sportsbook...lol Adam posted the name of the sportsbook that runs the place. do a google search on them or go to and ck out their reputation. They deal with players who wager 5 figures a day everyday and in over 15 yrs of buisiness you wont find even 1 complaint about them paying out.

how is Bovada allowed to operate?
Everleaf was not seized. They are a completely legal buisiness still up and running and havent missed 1 minute due to the Govt. thing. They seized some funds from a processor and mailed Everleaf a a letter. Everleaf chose to stop U.S. players from playing at their site due to that. Bodog is a completely legal site. They havent used a .com site since a year ago. Calvin has been indicted before...he's not that worried about it. The US. can indict a ham sandwich, it doesnt mean your guilty of anything. Bovada is a different story and i know nothing about it.

True Poker. Why is no one talking about this site?
They are an illegal offshore gaming company and make no bones about that. Thats why they are faceless and nameless and will remain so im sure. They do not keep funds segregated because they have no need to. Poker really is a minor part of their business as sportsbetting is way bigger than their poker rooms could ever be. They have been operating since the 80's and with the possible exceptions of the UIGEA era when nobody was paying fast these guys never have never not payed anybody nor slow payed anyone.. True Poker is Americas Cardroom. Im not 100% sure but the way i remember it is the people behind A.C. bought the True Poker network and changed it all to the WPN network. There is nothing im aware of thats shady about any of them. True Poker was owned originally by the largest most well trusted sportsbook in the history of offshore gaming and A.C. is owned by the 2nd largest, oldest, most trusted site. I know of 6 sportbooks that use the WPN network and id trust them more with my money than any bank in the U.S.

A basic question on if I have the odds to make a call
You need a lil bit better odds because neither player has any money behind if you hit your hand. If they both have the 6 in they have less than 4 bucks left . You cant get paid if you hit your hand...

Guys stay the F out of betonlines poker room. They DO NOT WANT PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS...ie; anybody who wins money. They owe well over 50K to poker players now and wont pay. Ive had several PM's from people wanting me to help them because i helped someone before....They have closed that door. I cant help anyone get paid from poker playing there. I would suggest you try are on the Americas Cardroom network, have much better game selection than BetOnline and dont care if you play poker only and dont bet on sports....They have also been around 15+yrs and will pay . Again...if you want to win ...

Bodog leaves US market - now Bovada.lv
Just tried to update the software ffrom BDog to BVada and my anti-virus went nuts. Telling me its wanting to install the Artemius Trojan. Anybody else getting these msgs'' Bummer, UB was able to look at cards without having to install a trojan....Frickin BDog still behind the times.........

Club WPT - Who is playing?
Yea it was 300 ppl playing for $3.00 prize pools when i last ckd it out. However now if you want to watch any of the WPT live events on your computer they make you get an acct to do so so ive reloaded it but havent played anything yet...

Advice?
Id think playing the event would be easier than a small tourny for someone who is "rusty". In the small tourny the structure will be so fast that you'll be forced to make decisions you may not be comfortable with. In the event you have awful players and a much better structure and each and every decision wont be crucial for survival, with 40 min levels in most wsop-c events you'll shake off the rust by the 3rd or 4th level and have plenty of time and chips to work with...

Unless you think V2 is a pretty decent player i would lean more to him having QQ to 1010. A good player may be building the pot a lil so he can get all-in on the turn if a safe card comes off....a fish with a set i would think would ship it right now, they dont know odds or pot size or anything else the only thing they know is winning the hand. there are cards left that could beat him and he would want to win it right now. Your only behind 1 hand thats in a tight players range 99 and your not drawing completely dead there, hes only got 1 pot size bet left if you just call. Get it in now it ...

If V1 had AA or KK does he think for a minute before just calling' I doubt it. he'll fold and your trapper has med prs and lots off worse broadway hands than yours in his range, he wouldnt have just called with a big pair with only u and the blinds left to act i wouldn't think.. Ship and get V1 out seems + EV

Belle of Baton Rouge/Hollywood?
Hollywood just reopened the room. 4 tables shoved against the wall. they open at 10.30am and close when the games die. mostly 4/8 limit.....sometimes you'll get a full ring NL going for a few hours but it tends to play shorthanded a lot.. Belle never changes....same crowd. 1 table 2/5NL...2 tables 4/8 limit. Lately the NL has been falling off a due to some poker clubs that have recently opened in the area. Not that many tourists unless there is an event in town so its mostly regulars no matter when you go.

David Vitter (R-LA) response on Internet Gambling
Vitter will vote on any internet gambling bill exactly the same way the party votes. If its a Republican bill he'll support it and if its a Democrat he wont. No he wont sponsor a bill but he wont vote against 1 either. He doesnt have to worry about reelection, he votes along party lines almost 99%.
