Final 12 of the Big $22 I had a similar situation in the Big 55 few weeks ago w/ TT but w/ 56BB BTN vs SB (a mad russian). I was 7/15 and he had slightly more chips than I had. I made the call w/ TT and he showed AK and he obv got the king. Usually players are not jamming AA,KK or QQ here, because they want as much as equity and they don't want you pull you out of the hand. So these 3 hands are easily discounteable. In this case here his range is 99-JJ;AQs+;AQo+ imo, so with TT u are running about 54,4/45,6 against this range. Should he be a bit looser, lets say he also jams AJo/AJs and also pocket 8's in this ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Gross river spot... baby boat facing aggression from a nit seems like he has 45. I would be happy about the river. I'm shoving the river, not considering about just calling. Should you lose this pot it's a cooler, but in most cases you have the nuts, by calling you give away value of your hand. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

SCOOP Main Event $109, ~200 players left, AQ in UTG+1 facing UTG raise.. Aren't we losing value of this hand by just flatting' I mean we give players behind a good spot to squeeze and 2nd we don't show any strength of our hand pre, so we are facing most of the time a cbet of the inital raiser who is OOP. What if Axx is the board and UTG cbets having AK' I don't think we can escape from this on and if we 3b pre: 1. it looks pretty strong from our position (we also are the whole time in pos.), 2. we are the aggressor, 3. UTG gives up all small pockets, A9s-AJs and finally if he jams we are confronted w/ a better hand most of the time, so we can easy fold after he ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

The Big 55 early spot with AK Top pair Top kicker vs pot-sized bet. WWYD? It's the 10th hand or so.. I really had no reads. I think the only hands he might have are AA, a lil bit AK and QQ (if he is a moron). I guess AA is the most likely hand here in this spot. And vs AK I am splitting the pot so there is no interest for me. Also we shouldn't forget the third player who could have JJ, 44 in his range.. general question about squeezing and what to do after a repop.. no I had no other reads on his range there.. only thing I knew is the fact, he had no decent profits in mtts :) range might be much tighter, but villain is not a nit all i can say, so it is possible that he shoves 77+ here also.. general question about squeezing and what to do after a repop.. what's the general plan while squeezing, that's the question I am confronted with everytime. I know it's profitable to squeeze in a spot like this (i hope so), however, I dont like to fold here too often, otherwise I don't like to flip for 40-50 BB with such a confortable stack. That's why I am posting here, I don't know what the general plan is here, when you play it as like as I did that. As said folding is an option to me, but I'm not sure if a fold here is -EV.
