What are the odds
I will make this quick, My boss forced me to take a vacation and he paid for everything including my poker (I know way to nice of a boss). The poker was not good but the strangest thing happened and I wanted to see what the odds are this has happened to anyone else. When we checked into the hotel and they asked for the credit card to charge room charges to. I told them it was prepaid and she then said it wasn't but I could get my boss to fax the form back to her and they would charge it to his card when they got it back. A trick I learned to cover that is go get a large coffee and add a bunch of sugar at the table right when you sit down in front of everyone. They will think its the coffee and sugar more than the cards!! Or shoot a couple of red bulls in the first 30 minutes

Actually Eddie you are correct the scamming on UB still has me worried and kept me away as well. But there are cheats and scammers on all the sites. I really wonder if UB will ever clean it up and get some real support then maybe they would raise the #s. I have played a very long time on UB but my trust in UB is very little. But when the former Pro's who use to represent the site question it, I really wonder what is happening there. The players shouldn't be the ones finding the scams and having UB denying it until they are blue in the face and someone else has to prove it.

I had left UB for awhile because of the overwhelming # of useless satelites like those .20 satelites for a dollar tourny and the loss of the 5.50 turbo rebuys for the 200k like the 3 seat guarntee and the Super short stacks. A lot of regular players get really tired of playing crap shoots for a seat or get deep into a guarnteed tourny and have players that are playing way above their level because they won one of the crap shoots to get in. Anyone know how many play the nightly tourny at the Rio' We are heading out Tuesday for the week. Going to do a satelite and was wondering about the regular nightly since they are getting player of the year points for it was hoping it had a good # playing. Thanks for any help on this. AmsterdamMan

In Memory of Ltejas R I P My Friend
Ltejas A very close poker and personal friend passed away this morning. I hope that all his other Poker friends take time to remember him. He was a very nice and caring person and would take time for anyone anytime and give the shirt off his back for a friend. Although I never met the man in person he was as close as any friend I ever had, he was my venting point from a car accident that messed up my back. He had been through it and was helping me get through the mess!! Boy did I have it easy thanks to him!! I will really miss you man I will make sure I burn 1 for you before I sit at the WSOP ...

Taylor, I have been playing on UB for a very long time and have done quite well in MTT- 5 Sunday 200 final tables and several other very good wins. I am missing something to keep the consistency and I can't get to groove of the cash games. I have taken the time and asked several times for a little help from some of the other top players but many have too much going on to help. I have looked into many of the training sites but frankly I need the one on one training. My goal is to get a solid bankroll going and sustained and hopefully WSOP MAIN EVENT WINNER!!! Site upgrades UB vs PARTY POKER
This is something I noticed just thought I would share it UB upgrade takes almost 3wks and still not right with many waiting on refunds or having to prove that they did not get refund Party Poker upgrade over night and gave all real money players 50 to play with, you could not withdraw it until you played 500 ranked hands. I am a loyal UB costumer but it is getting harder and harder to defend UB with things like this going on,maybe they should try to steal the Party Poker programmer.
