Re:Poker on Linux
I have run FTP on my desktop with Ubuntu 9.10 through Wine. The issues I have had are sound issues. With the sounds disabled, everything works fine. Having the sounds on causes the machine to lock up. I believe there is a conflict between pulseaudio and Wine. Check out for info on your preferred site's software.

Re:Living near train tracks
Our first house was 1/2 block away from the tracks. The freight trains are not only loud, they tend to shake the ground a bit. At 100 feet, you're going to feel it! You may want to look for signs of damage (cracks, etc.) before buying. Also think of the resale value/problems.

Re:BIGGEST "TAKE ACTION" YET!: Make Your Voice Heard at the State Level
Sent! Here is the response I received from my representative: Dear Mr. Miller: Thank you for contacting me about Internet gambling regulations. As Central Kentucky's advocate in Washington, D.C., your views are extremely important to me, and I appreciate the time you took to share them. H.R. 2267, the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act, would enact administrative and licensing requirements for Internet betting and would include safeguards against compulsive Internet gambling and underage gambling. This legislation is currently pending before three ...

Re:campers speak to me, need a cheap/quality tent
If you can get to a Cabela's or Bass Pro, they may have something in the closeout/bargain section. I found a 3-person, 3-season tent that would retail for $90, got it for $19.

Re:Starting from scratch...Part 2...
I started with $60 on FTP a little over a year ago, current BR > $500. I am a "recreational" player, usually play the 3.30 KOs and some $4 token SNGs for when I want to take a shot at a bigger BI. Don't let the variance get to you, as sometimes it can be brutal in these low stakes tourneys. GL!
