Re:I JUST GOT SCAMMED FULL TILT POKER This is why I only transfer funds between my brother and my cousin. Because they both won't scam me. If a stranger asked me to do a transfer, I just wouldn't risk it. Sorry for your loss, but I think you will have learnt your lesson. Unfortunately you learnt the hard way. Re:NL cash hand advice please I can't believe you have folded this without even trying to find out where you are in the hand. What are you worried about the 5' I doubt if he has a five in his hand he would bet 25 into a pot worth 37. He is likely to check. In you position I am check - raising him on that flop. I wouldn't have laid that hand down so easily if I was in your shoes. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Crossing The Line in Chat? You are not over reacting. The unfortunate reality is the internet is full of keyboard warriors who would never say anything like this to somebody in person, for fear of their own personal safety. IMHO, you should just report it to the moderators and forget about it. But i would defintely mention something to mods. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:what's the sickest bluff..... Playing live cash table at crown casino in melbourne, Australia. (2/3 blinds) I find pocket 10's in my hands in mid position. 2 callers so far. I raise to $15. Button calls. One of the limpers calls. Flop A A K with 2 diamonds. First guy checks, I bet $25 to see where I am at. Button Calls and 1st position folds. By now I am fairly certain I am beat. Turn comes Q ( Ad Ac Kd Qs). I decide to fire one last bullet to see if I can bluff out the pot. I bet $45. He calls. I now resign myself to giving the pot away, as unless a 10 or a J comes I am likely to have to fold to any ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Live Game Question Yeh I seem to agree with your three possible scenarios. How old is the brother' How much money did he lose to you' Is he a minimum wage pizza delivery boy, and his old man is trying to protect his hard earned dollars' To be honest, If i was in your situation I would be unlikely to play with them again. I know it makes you looks like a sore loser in their eyes, but the reality is I really think you are in the right in this situation. What does you g/f say about it' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

BTW, I saw a very similar situation happen at star city casino here in sydney a few months back, only difference was the guy with Kings lost around $750, and the villain with 2 5 nailed a straight A to 5! Re:First live multi table tourny win. Hi, To be honest with you whilst i was playing the hand I was running this thought through my head knowing that irdnarily the right move in a blind vs blind situation is to shove here. Against any other play at the table this would have been my move. (i was actually reading about this exact situation a few days earlier on pocketfives and had taken notice of the advice given by many of the guys who said this was an instant shove) I do know he is capable of raising the pot with a rubbish queen rag, but i was fairly certain I knew where I was in this hand. First live multi table tourny win. Hi Guys, Feeling pretty pleased with myself today. I won my first live multi table tourny win last night! Two of my friends play here quite regularly, and they have been bugging me for a few weeks to go down and play. I have never played at any of these poker clubs (only tournys, no cash games due to licensing restrictions), as i prefer to play at the casino in cash games as I find i regularly come away roughly 300-500 a night when i play on the weekends. (i just wish i was as good when i play online :( Anyways, I make it to the final table, both of my friends do as well. To be honest one ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
