I dont know when it has taken place so I cant know how it has effected me, but it shouldnt be too hard to figure out that if 2 good players are playing soft against each other then their chances of survival are greater... And the greater # of good players left in the tourny, the harder it is for the rest of the players to win; especially if blinds are being folded for friends, open raises are being shoved over to pass chips, etc..... Shouldnt be too hard to see how this can snowball.....

To anyone who wrote the above in the past week, YSSCKY. The amount of vouching and nuthugging going on between some of the mtt players is absurd. It only makes me wonder the amount of account sharing, bankroll sharing, ballgreasing and alltogether shady fking activities are really going on behind the scenes. Him and everyone associated with him should be banned. They CLEARLY knew what he was doing and who the fk knows to what extent it was being done. Softplay has already been shown by the posted HHs. We are probably barely scratching the surface on this issue and on the issue as a whole, but ...

No one here will 'take my side because im a name player', few people like me much here anyways. Nonetheless, can you explain to me how the person who is going into the river with 2 outs played a hand a lot better than the person who had his opponent drawing to 2 outs' Especially given that 70%+ of the pot went in on the turn.

IMO, it doesnt matter if you would actually play any of those hands like this or not, but rather would your opponent THINK that you would. IE I lead sets because people dont like to give credit to a lead, but this gives me problems when i lead with a middle strength hand or a draw because people simply do not give credit. I dont think u can overestimate the abilities of your opponents, especially in these big tournys. Just because YOUR range on the hand is 2pr +, or straight/flush draw, doesnt mean that your opponent in the hand is good enough to realize that. And it always seems that I am at ...

Maybe its just me, but im pretty sure I have never made anyone fold a pair of aces in a tourny, so ignoring that this time he had a set, I doubt u even have fold equity vs a-j+, which makes semibluffs fairly worthless with an ace on board IMO (especially because they will call all in and bust when u hit ur draw at their price anyways). Of course this could also be why i never get a big stack.

Not a very well played hand so far, especially with that turn bet. I could see firing again on a blank turn but when this turn comes out its an easy c/c. His hand looks like a monster (flat calling a flop bet and raise on an almost drawless board) and a bet on this turn with this draw will give him a chance to blast you out of the pot ( a raise by him to 75+ would make your draw harder to call for). However, despite u giving him a chance to knock u off your hand on the turn with a big raise, he has still more than priced u in so its an autocall. River Id c/r the straight if i hit and either ...

I played next to daniel all of day 3. He is very solid and never makes mistakes. He doesnt get press because he doesnt jump around, dance, and hollar when he wins a pot nor does he have a ton of friends singing his praises, but he is one of the best.
