lets get stars to run a Japan charity event this sunday!!
Obviously there was quite a bit of stealing/mishandling of funds donated to the Haiti relief effort but that should hardly function as a deterrent for Stars/FTP to facilitate something like this. Know there is a risk of some of the money you donate being misused for a variety of reasons but making it convenient for a bunch of people to donate money to a worthy cause they would otherwise ignore seems like a dec idea to me. Would def be nice if they matched the players donations as well.

Trying to find the thread where I explained exactly what happened but I can't seem to locate it. The incident was from a number of years ago when I forgot to close a hu sng stake for like $160. I played very irregularly at that time and I decided to take a break forgetting to finish the open stake I had on PTP which I know sounds fishy but it had honestly slipped my mind. Once I returned to the forum and was reminded of the incident I sent the owed $ to the backer immediately and apologized. new Radiohead album - The King of Limbs
After a couple listens I def prefer the 2nd half of the record as well. As per usual it doesn't quite sound like any one thing they have done before and I'm not really sure how to characterize it which is generally a good thing. My fav track thus far is give up the ghost.

Hand vs GBoro in COOP ME, very deep...
Def cosign just flatting pre in this spot vs the best I think he's likely to play so perfectly preflop vs your hand given these stack sizes that I would rather just take a flop in pos with a hand that does well against whatever range he's opening. If you were quite a bit deeper I wouldn't mind 3 bet calling a 4 bet so much but here it just looks like your friend 3 bet without any particular intentions then realized that it prob isn't a great spot to 5 bet call and decided to flat which is a pretty big mistake imo. One of the weirdest hands I have seen in a long time.
I was at the table and thought it looked a bit sketchy but I think he just leveled himself into assuming the c/s was more polarizing than it actually was. There was some chat after the hand which notably included KingKaizer asking usm4rine if he was bluffing implying he didn't think he would go for two bets on the river without the effective nuts and I guess never bluff better than KJ. The hands looks really suspicious but given the previous dynamic and the chat after the fact leads me to assume it was just a misapplication of logic not an attempt to chip dump.

HU Sngs vs HU cash
I've played a dec amount of both and find HU NL/PLO cash to be the most interesting games by far but at the same time they are also the most difficult to become remotely good at. You will probably be able to find more success playing hu sngs especially if you're coming from a full ring tourney/sng background because a lot of the same concepts you have already been using will apply immediately. Moving to HU cash is going to be a totally new form of poker for you to learn so it's obviously going to require a bigger commitment. If you decide you want to learn it anyway I would recommend watching ...

If I am making no sense I apologize def had a few tonight. I agree with just about everything you have said I'm just not convinced Duhamel is 5 bet folding as often as you think he is in this exact situation. Most of the good players itt seem to agree with you and as I said earlier I could easily be wrong. Congrats Subiime.

I didn't say he can't 5 bet light of course he can and if your just going to follow the logic of the hand in a vacum then you would be able to deduce that Duhamel knows he is getting 4 bet light a dec amount so he should be countering with some light 5 bets. The issue I am taking up is where this hand is being played and the fact that they have 7 figure jumps and if he 5 bets light and gets jammed on he puts himself neck and neck with Racner to bust 3rd. If he knew that Cheong would fold out everything besides the nut part of his range I obv think he can/should be 5 betting his whole range ...

Getting into a leveling war there was a pretty big mistake imo he was accumulating all night without risking a bunch and it looked like it was def going to continue that way. He has a clear justification for jamming given that was the 3rd or 4th time he 4 bet Duhamel but I really don't know if Duhamel is 5 betting light as often as some of you are inferring or as often as he would need to to justify that shove. All that being said he played flawlessly all night owned a really tough table and has nothing to be ashamed of.

Matt Affleck - Give the man credit
I just saw the episode and that beat was as advertised. Duhamel(who seems to play fine given the other hands I've seen)had to play that hand as bad as possible on every street for Matt to go broke just super unlucky. Of the episodes I saw he seemed like one of the best they were covering consistently, he played that final hand nearly perfect and handled himself way better than most given the circumstances. Gl in the future.

Tough spot in 700 PCA qualfier vs charder30
There are antes fwiw. I would also fold pre given the opener and the stacks behind. On the flop I would have led after charder checked with the intention of calling CiaranF's jam and being completely unprepared for a c/r from charder. At this point I can't see how you can continue as strange as his line seems to me.
