Anyone ever buy or eat exotic meats?
Also, a lady friend in Japan took me out for raw scallops once. I woke up the next day with really sore joints and green feet. I haven't dined on either my lady friend or raw scallops ever since.

I had what I thought was raw beef whilst living in Japan a while back. I asked one of my hosts what the dish was called that I was eating. He kept saying "Uma...Uma...Uma." I gave him a blank stare and he then proceeded to do his best impersonation of a horse. It was quite tasty. It's called Basashi (raw horse meat)...yummy :)

Water boarding imo does not constitute torture in my mind. I suppose it depends on which side of the fence you're on. Is it harsh' Absolutely. Torture in my mind is like what you see in the movies. Lopping off ears, fingers, tongues and genitalia. Water boarding is definitely in the grey area. It's certainly cruel, but it doesn't cause permanent physical bodily damage. I’m totally cool with it J

LOL! What do you call it then' My single largest check I write each month (Is that better') is for income taxes. You can call it an expenditure, an expense, a payment, a bill, whatever. What difference does it make what you call it' It's money flowing out. I'm not opposed to paying taxes. I'm opposed to the amount and how it's spent and wasted. I'm also opposed to the fact that no matter how much more they confiscate from me and you, our deficit will continue to get worse and worse. This isn't how it’s always been in our country. You obviously missed my point.

In our business (Partner with niptuck) we pay rent (for which we personally signed for) in one of the highest rent districts, salaries for employees, insurance benefits for our employees, marketing expense, etc.. Do you want to guess what our single largest expense is' Fucking taxes :( There's something seriously wrong with that. Where does it end' I guarantee when they raise taxes that in 10 years our deficit will be even more horrendous. If we don't stop spending more than we take in we will implode and be forced to speak Chinese. Nothing against Chinese...it just gives me a headache ...

Sax was implying that the wealthy somehow don't pay income taxes because of the credits etc.. When in fact it's the low and middle-income families that use credits etc. to avoid paying income tax, to the tune of 47% of all households. The top 1% pay 40% of all income tax, top 20 pay 80, jeeeez, their CPA's must really suck!

FTR, I wasn't born on 3rd base. Nip and I are business partners. We started our business with credit cards. I was an RA my last year of college and used a cc to pay my tuition. I'm the only one in my immediate family that even graduated from college. And when I got out, I couldn't scratch 2 nickles together.

They cut the tubes and then burn the ends (smelled like burning hair). Tubes were bigger than I thought, about the size of macaroni before it's cooked. Balls continue to make the baby batter, it just gets absorbed back into your body.
