Fulltilt is way softer than stars. Stars has too many guys, even at 50NL and 100NL, going for supernova. I spoke with a guy at 100NL who said he puts in 10 hours a day 6 days a week trying to get to supernova. He was a slight loser but because of the benefits of supernova he was MAKING money!

I'ved thought about this myself and came to a few conclusions. My dad used to say that if you want to find out how people failed go ask them because they will tell you. Conversely, if you want to find out how people become succesful, go ask them because they will tell you. People have too much pride when they become successful. They want to show everyone how they got there and how clever they are. Basically they're bragging about it. Since this game does evolve you shouldn't really be worried about exhanging of information. Exponential growth! Just post on forums and watch videos. You'll meet lots of people this way. I have a group of my good friends I bullshit and go out with. Then I also have my poker buddies I chat poker with. Nothing wrong with having different groups of friends.

What up' I dug this article up on 2+2 Poker. Probably one of the best I've ever read on poker. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. Briefly about me: I had a decent 2009. fake ID's are a joke. I had one since I was 18 and have gone to casinos ever since and they don't give a fuck as long as it looks real I'd watch out for tournaments because you have to claim those on your taxes but cash games they just let you walk out. Would he raise you with trash or nut busters in the BB' Or is he just checking that part of his range IP BvB' If he isn't raising IP with those hands BvB I would check/fold the turn unfortunately. Although, if you have a dynamic with him, you could possibly take a check to induce line on the turn and then donk on the river for value. I mean would he bet call that flop with a weak jack or even something as strong as AJ in that spot'

Bingo! It might be hard to grasp but its true, cash is more difficult then tournaments. Any top cash game player would crush a world class tournament player and its not even close. You have to have the self discipline to stop when you don't want to. It sounds like you have somewhat of a natural tilt control in that department if you have to leave and come back a lot.

This mindset will set you up for failure. You can't expect poker to "save" you. You have to save yourself. Don't make the mistake of thinking poker will fix your own personal problems. It sounds like you have some issues beyond work that you need to fix. Unless you fix those they will reflect in your game as leaks and you will fail. Before you make the jump stop lying to yourself and really look within. See whats bothering you because poker isn't going to fix it. Their RakeBack system is way better IMO then FullTilts IF you can put in the hours to grind. Its basically like getting a salary for playing poker if you grind hard enough. Advertising is huge. Fulltilt is catered to people who want to be good at poker. Pokerstars caters to both and has the poster boy for donking his way to a win. Everyone thinks, if that slob moneymaker can do it so can I!

What range are you specifically refering to' You can't just bunch his entire range on all 3 streets. Do you mean his river Donking range' His calling off range' On top of that smaller flushes are calling and trips jacks are calling especially if he is a rando donk. Shoving is terrible against his river donking range though especially when a diamond rolls off. A call is best there and I think if you know him well then you can sometimes fold it. Lesson learned: Fold pre and just flat river.
