Question about WPT Reno seat
If you win a 10k package to this event, apparently you are pre-registered for the event. Anyone that is familiar with playing a WPT event, is it possible to go out there and unregister and be awarded cash for the buyin (in this case $7.7k)'

I wasn't folding to a 3bet preflop. If he 3bet I was intending on re-shipping 30k. Therefore, I am not sure I agree with increasing the raise size preflop.

I most definitely misplayed the hand. That isn't up for debate I admit that. Antes were like 125 I believe. I'm basically just wondering what the ideal way to play this hand would be' I know he was playing very aggressively, and thats about the only read I had.

Hand vs voff voff deep in the 200k
I can't get the hand history but I'll outline the situation. Blinds are 6/1200 I had roughly 30,000 and voff voff had around 34,000. I haven't been real active and he's been playing quite a few hands, other than that I have no reads. Folds to me in cutoff I raise to 3340 with 99. Voff calls from the BB Flop: Js 3d 4d He immediately led for roughly 2/3 the pot, I think it was like 4440 or so. I raised to 10,000 even and he immediately stuffed all in for like 31,000 total. (Would have been for all my chips) I tanked for awhile but my line was that it was either a well played set, or a big ...

The answer is No. Never' That might be extreme, but I would not make a habit out of opening marginal hands with a 15bb stack with 10x stacks behind you. In order to open in this spot, you have to have a hand with showdown value. I think that's the simplest way to put it, imo.

I dont think this is a snap call. Player read has to be acknowledged here. He's shoving 19 bbs, which seems fairly strange to me. If he has been playing fairly tight I'm really not opposed to letting this go.

A lot of poor ABC-type players for some ungodly reason get off on min-reraising preflop with AA. The call preflop is fine for obvious reasons such as you really can't fold given the odds, but I'm definitely dumping on the flop unless you flopped a monster (such as 2 J's).

The likelihood of him playing KK or AA this way is slim to none..imo anyways. Q9x is not a flop your gonna want to get cute with.

Pretty tough spot imo. I think it all depends how he's been playing. I would discount the percentage of the time he's got a 9 here. Also, hes not going to be flat calling with AQ, KK, or AA on that flop texture. I might call here depending upon the player. P.S. Please bet more on the turn.

Um ya it obviously plays a factor. This time you got a poor table draw relative to your past table. However, there are also instances where you can hate your table position and get moved to a table where you have better position relative to the various stack sizes. Its all relative.
