So you had to think he has A 2 or a better set to make a bet like that. Not knowing if Bloffe was playing loose all night or not makes it a harder hand to discuss. I think I could have got away from the hand only because of the amount of the bet, you got lucky on this hand but you have to gamble to win at some point and in this case it paid off,

Chase dreams not straights and you'll be a happier player. That being said it would depend on other factors if you call or not,chip stack,was the other player aggressive. but most of the time you won't hit that straight or flush and just piss yourself off when it doesn't come in. We all get donked, but once the river hits what can you do' fuseman36 got lucky, I certainly would have been hard pressed to get away from this hand after the flop. You played it right and took a bad beat, haven't we all. Good Luck at the tables
