Re:Champions League 2nd leg thread
Yeah, the away goal rule definitely works to Man U's advantage, the Arsenal pick is more a gut instinct (whereas the Chelsea one is head instinct), and I dont think Man U are good value at their current short odds. + I hate Man U and want to see anyone beat them which is probally making me biased towards Arsenal.

Re:Champions League 2nd leg thread
Its the same with the other game too, obv Man U look good and if the odds were even they would represent value, but at these odds the value is with Arsenal.

Re:Champions League 2nd leg thread
Yeah I see that the bookies have them as favorites to advance, hence betting on them being a highly negative ev play in my opinion. Obviously they could win, but betting on them at this price is burning money. All the value is with betting Chelsea.

Re:Champions League 2nd leg thread
Lol picking Barca. If you dont like money LV just send it straight to me. Picking Barca is so far negative ev its off the charts. Its simple, they cant break Chelsea's defence, Chealsea can break theirs, they're not playing some shitty Spanish side remember. Arsenal to advance in the other game, all London final.

Here is one of my fav videos from him, not only because he rips here, but because at 1:42 he pretty much shows what a "GTFO NOOB" should be like and he had a 100% right to I dont know about that, by what you see on the video Slater clearly drops in on the other guy, other guy had right of way, thats why Slater was on his way in after the wave.

Most people have a downswing that lasts their entire poker career. For me its 50k hands or so.

Re:Barcelona Vs Chelsea tomorrow!!! 11:30am!!! ESPN2
I think Chelsea will advance to the final here. Might be a draw tonight and Chelsea will win at home. La Liga is a 2nd tier league compared to the EPL. Also, LVdealer picking Barca is a near sure sign they will lose. All London final on the way with Arsenal to take it out.

Re:Is this a bad sign or a good sign in 6max NL?
Positive solid green is a good sign obviously but somewhat meaningless over this many hands. The other lines don't indicate a good or bad sign. Some of the very best cash players have positive showdown winnings and negative non showdown winnings, some have what you have, and some have both positive. Cash games are really about making the best ev plays in each given situation to maximise the solid green line.

Website tellling volume of players on different sites?
What is the website that tells you how many players are currently on each site and what the 24 hour peak is. I can't remember the site that tells you that info, I tried googleing a few things but without success. Thanks

Re:Thoughts about Prahlad's 5 bet
Defintly a legit choice against the right opponent in the right situation, I think I did it twice today in cash games 100bb's deep. Never 4 bet bluffing would be a leak in one's game. Its better to do it with hands like kq, kj etc. Just don't do it with kk.

Re:Folded Kings Preflop to Prahlad Friedman in Aruba ...
This hand has similar dynamics to a cash game hand since stacks are very deep. A big rule in cash games is not turning your big hands into bluffs which is what you effectively do with the plan of 4 bet/folding kk. You might as well have J3 as already stated.

Re:Funniest show ever made on TV
I think you need to rewatch some British office. Obv Ricky Gervais is well ahead of Steve Carell. I Like the Dwight character a lot, but I still have to give the edge to Gareth, he was played brilliantly. Dwight's a lot more likable, where as Gareth is just a cock, and a very good character. In Dawn vs Pam its fairly even, but i'd give the edge to Pam here, nicer on the eye. Tim vs Jim, i'd give the edge to Tim easily, as being the better Character. In Big Keith vs Kevin, its easily Keith, Kevin gets pretty boring after a while. Finchy is a long way ahead of his American ...

Re:Financial advice for those saying McCain is a cert to win...
Thats certainly a big part of it. Like I said, i'm an outsider so am influenced by what I see and read over here (London). The way McCain is portrayed is to be another Bush (that might be wrong, but thats how he is portrayed), and I certainly wasn't a fan of Bush. Also, while in America a while back, I went to an Eddie Vedder solo show in San Diego, and he talked a lot about how terrible Republicans are, and he can't be wrong can he. (hidden brag, obv his opinion shouldn't be treated as gospel.) Also, i'll never be a fan of political parties whose policies seem strongly ...

Re:Financial advice for those saying McCain is a cert to win...
Nothing as of yet. As an outsider whose opinion is largely influenced by what they read in newspapers and see on BBC its seems very even to me at the moment, meaning McCain represents better value at current odds. I wish I put $ on McCain a month or so ago, his odds were a lot longer then, the momentum seems to be going his way with Obama not picking Hillary and him picking Palin. Obviously as a non American I would like to see Obama win, perhaps I should bet McCain so either way i'm happy.
