I am really not brainwashed at all. It is really very simple. The insurance industry is very highly regulated. We have certain rules that we have to follow. An insurance policy is just a contract between the insured and our company. Both parties have responsibilities. As far as the liability part of the contract is concerned, as in this case. The insurance company is required by law to make the party as whole as possible. All a lawyer will do for you is make a phone call, We say this is what we can offer you, they say NO, we want this. We say ok, this is what we will offer you, the lawyer says, no we want this, then we say no we are paying this amount, lawyer takes there 33.3% of what we would have paid to them anyways. Actually it is much easier for insurance companies to deal with lawyers than with the client themselves. So if you want to get 33.3% less than what we would have paid you anyways, hire a lawyer.

I work for an insurance company as an auto adjuster. Don't get a lawyer. The insurance company is going to pay you for the car and any injuries if the other driver is found at fault. A lawyer can't do anything for you other than take 40% off the top of a settlement that would happen with or without the lawyer. What insurance company does the other drive have' That company will have to do a liability investigation. It may take a while as they will have to speak to both drivers and get the police report. The govt takes part of the establishments profit, so why not force them to have no smoking. All a place has to do is make it a members only club and then they can smoke in there. Just fill out a card or form and then they can have smoking. There are ways around everything.

I am an auto claim adjuster. Just contact State Farm and speak with the adjuster directly. Tell them of the situation and they will probably cover the whole rental. And talk to your agent about adding rental. It is usually pretty inexpensive, like $15 or $20 for 6 months. In fact, next time don't even contact your insurance company if you are not at fault. Just contact the at fault company and file a claim with them. This way you don't have to worry about getting your deductible back etc. The subrogation process between insurance companies can take forever some times. The only time ...
