oilers leading the west wtf is going on here. they've been playing the trap which doesnt make for the most exciting hockey but whatever I honestly dont remember the last time they we're tops in their division much less conference. I'm sure they'll come back to earth soon enough but hopefully they can keep it going and atleast make the playoffs. I would LOVE to see them play the canucks in the first (or any) round.

the hw division doesnt really have a ton of "elite" guys compared to almost every other division but id say the guys you mentioned are probably the "elite" hws right now. like i said before hes clearly a good fighter, just not good enough to be the champion. He's like a Jon Fitch or Forrest Griffin or Faber type deal, good enough to make the guys beneath him look really bad but outclassed by the guys ahead of him.

Listen, Lesnars a beast and could beat 99.99999 percent of people on the planet senseless. He's just not (and likely never will be) an ELITE mma fighter. Everything youre saying about him diving into mma with no experience is totally correct and I agree with it 100 percent. Basically all Lesnar has going for him is his wrestling and athleticism which will no doubt win him fights against middle of the road type fighters but put him in the ring with an elite guy and he's pretty much done every time. Brock looked good in that fight for 2 minutes. WTG BRO. Cain wins that fight 8 out of 10 times easily (probably closer to 9 really) he was completly outclassed in every aspect of the fight, sure he got a takedown but CV was up basically before he hit the canvas. He also pushed Valasquez up against the came and threw 3 knees at the start of the fight, other then that nothing. I mean really who has Brock beat thats even really that good' Carwin (who i think is a rad dude but i mean he definatly cant be considered a top 5 HW, way too one dimensiona. it def sucks that 3 scrappers died this summer but I feel like all three were different situations. Rypien battled depression for years and unfortunatly like far too many that have battled the disease took his own life. Boogard ODed on a painmed (for his back, not concussion related) and booze cocktail and obv Belaks COD hasnt been released yet. (Toronto sun appearently had suicide listed as cod on their website but quickly took it down) Definatly sad that the hockey world lost 3 great guys but I dont feel that its THAT similar to wrestlers or alot of the stuff you see with ex-NFL players ...

about fucking time. its kindof lame that they had to admit their guilt or whatever to get out now instead of having to wait for a retrial could take years but i guess at the end of the day its awesome that they're finally out. ive been following the case for a long time now and with all the evidence against one of the victims stepfathers (terry hobbs or something like that i think) combined with the schoddy police work and media attention the cause as got im amazed that its taken this long for them to get out. this shit actually made my day.
