will ivey winning the ME prove it once and for all' i think if he wins this then poker governments worldwide can see that poker is all a skill game. but if he loses i fear they actually do have a point and a strong case to the fact that poker is just gambling with no skill, as it is rumoured ivey is the best so the best should win basis counts. don't want to put too much pressure on him but he needs to win if poker is to be free'd and recognised as a skill game rather than gambling ivey ftw please, willing to bet poker will be made legal in america all over if he does but i fear for ...

just interested, i'm doing a survey for my gay uni friend and he thinks that poker players have large gay tendencies. cliffnotes: i know for a fact that 2 members are of the wrong batting side of the sex game so to speak. not naming any names....pharreal87 and zpaceman, woops lol pleasereply with 'gay' or '100% man' if replying please thanks

The Harder They Fall Just before Ted Lawson's elimination, Dario Minieri was also busted. Then came the following hand involving Christian Harder and Jay Rosenkrantz. The table folded to Harder who raised to 2,200 from the cutoff. Then Rosenkrantz reraised to 12,000 from the button. The blinds folded, and Harder shoved all in for 60,000. Rosenkrantz made the call. Harder showed , while Rosenkrantz tabled . The board ran out , and Harder was eliminated. Rosenkrantz now has 218,000. bit spewy by harder no' rosenkrantz's 4 bet size makes it seem like he's not messing about imo

couple of ks prolly, worst was when i decided to take a few shots and play higher stake mtt's for a session. had around $450 worth of buy ins in play when my avg buy in was $20, int wouldnt work for a few hours....got it back just in time to bust out of 3 or 4 tourneys with 2 BBs. fun day, lesson learnt to not take shots i guess

not saying what elky's done isn't redic. just saying elky's won 3 big live events so inevitably a lot of luck comes into that imo, along with very skilled play. but darios played thousands of 5k hu sngs and absoloutely crushed, think he was up 700k in them at 1 point till he hit a bit of a downswing. to me playing thousands of the highest hu sngs in the world and crushing them is more impressive/takes more skill/ is less about luck than binking a few big live scores

dario gets my vote, the guy's crushed the highest stakes hu sng's continually, whereas elky is down like 300k in sngs. sure elky's binked a few big live wins but what dario's done is more impressive imo
