Woo-hoo, first decent score since BF!
kevmode is a douche. life isn't just all about money. the OP felt like he accomplished something after what Black Friday did to him and the rest of America. Life has ups and downs, this win is a sign of relief to him after all this negativity in the USA poker world the past month. $600 may not seem to be a lot to u, but im sure if u hand 6 bills to some homeless guy on the streets, u will make their day. maybe when u go out for dinner and u have the leftovers to go, try giving it to a homeless person. he/she will thank u like it's their last supper.

help with 25NL game, any suggestions would help
for some reason my last 9200 hands i played at 25nl on PS.. i've been struggling. im up +$27.85 in profit but my EV is -$83.23 im fortunate that im running above EV so far, but my negative EV the last 9200+ hands starting to worry me as if i cant beat this stake anymore. my overall: 24000+ hands at 25NL my bb/100 is 5.19, BB/100 is 2.59 my EV bb/100 is 4.00, my EV BB/100 is 2.00 i noticed ever since PS removed the american players and those 25-50bb tables, i've been struggling to compete against the regulars on the 40-100bb tables. i've also played many hours during PS low volume times, ...

Listening to music will mess up your game.
i think its more of a superstition for these poker players. stop bashing/trolling your own forum community for example, in baseball.. a batter usually has a routine every time they step up to the plate (re-wrap their glove after each pitch, step out of the batter's box, etc), it's a superstition. in hockey, the goalies tap both ends of the post after each period. for poker players, it's just another routine they must go through during a session where they dont want to do anything that is out of their daily routine for a poker session grind. for me personally, i try not to listen ...

Blinds Chop button in Cash Games?
as a micro 25nl-50nl cash game player.. i make a decent profit from raising on the SB or BB when folded around to blinds. usually these stakes have a lot of 9/9 nits, and i rather take their bb then give it back to them. it adds up at the end of the day, especially when ur playing 6-8 tables.

5 Nights, $1K CHALLENGE - Inspired by 2 Months 2 Million
Plot: Four members from our poker crew will grind five nights (5-7 hours each night) of online poker to try and profit $1000 at 25NL. The goal is highly inspired from the hit TV series, Two Months Two Million. We will be playing side by side (on different tables obv) like in Two Months, Two Million on FTP and PS. Updates will be provided , Pocket Fives, and Justin TV. We will start some time next week, stay tune! Our goal is to stay motivated and hopefully inspire other groups of friends on PocketFives to do something similar.
