My Session for today...Gotta tell someone Hey guys, Just wanted to tell some1, kinda get this off my chest and maybe get some build up advice. So in advance, thanks for the replies. Anyways, I am at the micro level. Probably played 45 bucks worth of MTTs. Played across PS, UB, and FTP(Just SnGs here). Mostly I played my MTTs on PS, there are more tourneys than UB and most of my BR is there. So, I get deep in about 7 MTTs w/ 100 or less left to go and what kills me is I dont ship 1, I don't even FT one. I do what I can when I raise. I plan ahead and say hey if he shoves Im calling, I can't raise with this garbage if I fold to a ... Posted in: Bad Beats |

How are you saving your hands? Hey guys, Just wondering how some of you are saving your hands to be referenced to later. Are you saving them in docs, txts' Or are you using a HUD' I am using PT3 right now but I do not like how they organize my hands, my hands for review, etc. Don't get me wrong the software is great but its just a free trial and I do not like how they organize my hands that I have questions on. Any ideas' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:IF this was you what would you have done? ^^^This all day....if you see a stack of 20BBs or less raise always consider their range, your position, and if you play well against their range b/c ultimately on any flop after they raise you are going to be playing for stacks. Re:Would flatting with A-J ( 13 bigs ) ever cross your mind in this spot ? ^^^^Up there I said, HOWEVER it just depends on the player's image. As far as the players behind. 1 guys is sitting out...so that is 2 players. So in order for these players to call or shove over his shove, they would have to have a pretty damn good hand b/c they would be 4bet shoving. I don't think any of these guys are 4-bet shoving with nothing but top 5% of hands. The guys behind our Hero have to consider that whatever they play they must be ready to play for stacks just in case the initial raiser goes allin as well. So chron would play for his whole stack, he would need a damn ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:AA BB v.s. 1010 SB...HELP!!!! Yeah in that guys spot I would not have over shoved...I woulda three-bet you and if you 4-bet shoved me, I would stutter stepped...I would have assessed and based off your image and style of play try to configure your 4bet range. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:AA BB v.s. 1010 SB...HELP!!!! Its ok to vent sometimes...Just try to vent less and less with each bad beat. Lets be honest here, you are going to receive bad beats and you are going to give bad beats. So to be fair, if you are going to vent about a bad beat.. You should vent for the other ppl you give bad beats too. Now this is meant to be funny, so next time you give some1 a bad beat. Say you shove 78s into JJ+ and you hit 2 pair or a flush or a straight, You should scream and holler and throw your damn computer and be like "SOB I just gave that guy a bad beat"..."Damn his JJ didn't hold ... Re:Would flatting with A-J ( 13 bigs ) ever cross your mind in this spot ? I am shoving this...this big stack guy could be opening such a wide range, so you could probably get him to fold. Folding here is not too bad either. You are either pushing/folding and when some1 open raises. I do a few things: 1-What kinda player is open-raising...What is their range' 2-What is my hand...How does it play against their range' Don't be results oriented, he coulda made this move with mid PP, Axs, KQ, AJ+...However it just depends on this player's image, how loose or tight he is. I suggest you get Pokerstove and compare your hand to his probable range. This will help ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Is there anything I can do here... Ok...This is what I learned way back when I was little when I first started playing. My grandma who taught me when I was 7, she would say "Don't worry about how the board came out, Just think in your mind 'Would you play that hand the same way again, if given the chance''" Now, 100% I would call with KK and AA. Yes you are new but damn, just use that noggin of yours. Would you call these all-ins again''' ITS ALL ABOUT VOLUME!!! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Did I play this flopped straight wrong? I agree with Graps 1) Grapsfan has this answer down...You can get other hands to call that you have beat. 2) The raise on the flop is too little, imo. Make it 35, and if he calls then. Start assigning his range right away. I would think he would raise KK, 99, and TT pre, so thats out. 9T is limping range, so is KT...Although Graps has it spot on about other hands ppl do limp with. Good read btw. Re:Is this line super bad against a suspect squeeze play .... How many hands have you seen this guy play to get the 10/6' Also, I think the limp is fine, but lets say you raise pre' Just go with me here, and he 3-bets shoves. You are folding. By raising the limpers and then if he 3-bet shoves on you, you save yourself chips by folding b/c your hand does not play well against his 3-bet shove range. B/c lets be frank this is probably one of the best flops you can have without hitting. Now if you hit, say the flush on the flop. Are you betting' and what are you betting' You don't want other hands to draw out against you. Now if you hit the straight ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Shove here? The way he has played it, I dunno if I would. The raiser has put 1/3 of his stack, he would be an idiot to fold. BC called 1500 with a ~6k stack, 1/4 of his stack, he would be an idiot to fold too. Me personally, BC just looks like it is small to med PP (from past exp). The raiser, some ppl get cute with raises like this either b/c they have a big hand QQ+, or they want to raise but be able to bail out. However if the raiser is using his brain he must know that with the amount of limpers he is should be getting a caller. LOL I love poker, its a big damn mind game! Anyways, you need to raise ... Re:Correct Shove? This depends. I would run the Stop and Go if I was OOP, maybe in the blinds. Just smooth call and then shove any flop. Here I am shoving. If you 3-bet you are goin to 3-bet to about 1200, that is too much of your stack. You might as well shove. Plus, with how loose the villian is, this makes this shove +EV. Another thing I ask myself after I shove. Would I shove in that spot again' In your spot, I would shove again and again, especially since that guy is calling with AQ. You have to chip up sometime. Re:shorthanded 3 tables left. 77 Yeah shove 77 here....I would do it again and again and again. You need to chip up, the blinds are going to consume your stack b/c there is only 6 ppl at this table, THEREFORE you should open your shoving range a bit. Still its kinda sick that the guy behind you shoves as well with AQ....Very sick. Unless he does this b/c you are loose. How is your image at the table' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Too spewy or standard? Yeah this is std....these guys limping imo just shows your hand plays well against their range. Imo, they are more than likely raising TT+, AK and that still could be a little too tight for some players. So just from that fact I think you play well against hands they are limping with. I am with graps and vixor on this, this is std and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
