who ranked in the top 1000 have a full time job outside of poker?
Wow I enjoy reading everyones post. I currently hump a 9-5 job where I make an modest hourly wage, and then I come home and put about a months salary on the line in some mid stake MTT's. I have been debating quiting my job since most of my close friends who grind dont work.... but then I assume I will run god awful and then I will have NO JOB, NO INSURANCE, and then NO BANKROLL :)

Yo stoneface you're the randomish player not me. If you read the post correctly you would see that I am the Villian in the hand, and I am saying I had AA and would not have played (99-JJ) the same way since I assumed he has JJ+ from his 3 bet near the bubble...

dont you think it is contradicting to say it is a awful donk bet on the flop, and then follow it by a sentence saying you would call not fold, and loose. Is it possible it is a good bet since most compitant players assume it would be a awful bet with a (kk+/set)'' A little over your head truemetalman'' You just a little guy' huh' ABC huh'

I didn’t four bet pre here because I didn’t want to polarize my range as QQ+ since I had been playing pretty nitty. I chose to bet out large instead of check/raising on this flop hoping it would tighten my range to a hand that would be betting for information. Maybe on a two toned flop I might check raising since more draws are in my range. My idea on the flop was to bet and hopefully get raised by either a bluff thinking I’m info betting or a big pair which I just have dominated. You may think it is a donk bet on the flop, but my thinking is it was my best way to play for stacks.

I think so. when you have less then 5k profit on OPR and you are writing paragraph that say.. "I now have a nice roll and have cashed a significant amount out....all this being said I would still not want to play FULL TIME...its draining it puts a stress on relationships and everything else." Your pretty much saying that you could play professionally but choose not too. Since you wasted my time reading your sick brag post, well I figured I had to respond. I personally could date any super model I wanted too, but I just wouldn't like all the stress that came with it... LOL

I wouldn’t consider a 3k MTT score the "BINK" you need to even remotely consider this as a JOB. IMO
