Re(5): Jerry Yang Wins WSOP M.E. *Consolidated Thread* no way. That may have been the best call in poker history given the context of the situation. Whoever reported that differently missed something. I also don't agree with mindwise. I liked Lee's play given limited information, he just got unlucky that he had A 9. I am actually a bit surprised at any criticism of Jerry. He actually played quite good since he dealt with a lot more adversity than say Gold did. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Jerry Yang deserves a little respect I disagree 100%. The reason I do is because of what happened. Lee wanted him to fold and Jerry read that. Right or wrong that was one of the hands that helped him get to where he was. Long story short, Jerry won this thing playing aggressive and calling people when they were weak. A9 was the best hand and that should not be discounted in your analysis. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Can't wait for ESPN to air this... I still feel whether or not the QQ was good or not is irrelevant. Though I would give odds that it was good. There are only 2 hands that beat him. That was too snug. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): Rahme has... In your life. In your whole life, under the weight of that situation to call there with a weak Ace. That is one of the best calls I have seen given the situation. Though admittedly Rahme talked him into it. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Why is 2+2 getting all the props on this telecast? in their defense. 2+2 probably has 5-10 times more posts, that is likely why. I would also imagine if they had a tally board it would be quite high as well. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Jerry Yang deserves a little respect no shit dude. I don't think I have ever seen a worse lay down. Maybe PetetheBeat from Foxwoods that one year. I mean the flop came something like 7 4 2, if he was going to fold to that flop then he should have folded the Queens preflop Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Jerry Yang deserves a little respect lol at bringing up the KJ hand. That moron laid the QQ's to him and he will think about that every day of his life once the show airs. To put a guy on AA or KK with that board was idiotic. Yang played the J8 hand trying to get him off of his hand and got caught. Mistakes of aggression aren't as bad as going all in for 20 million after a raise and re-raise. That was just silly. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Jerry Yang deserves a little respect Rahme is tired. He is also the worst player at the table by far. Jerry is doing a lot of things right given his circumstance. Unfortunately I think if he gets too much lower he will crash and burn. Which of course brings up the question, why did god like him earlier but not lately' He offered 10% tithe, do you think its possible Raymond Rahme offered more to god' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Jerry Yang deserves a little respect He has actually managed this tournament quite well and gotten fairly unlucky. My guess is we are going to see that the guy had decent cards most of the tourney. Early on he needed to gamble and played aggressively. He has gotten very unlucky. This latest AQ with the old guy was just an ignorant play by the old guy. Raise, re-raise all with AQ. So silly.
