45-man grinders... i have 3 spots i'd like commentary on plz... I used to grind 45mans very successfully on Full Tilt. Not sure why I stopped, but I'm going to try and give them a shot again as they appear to be just as juicy as they used to be. Here are some spots that I'm trying NOT to be results oriented on, but would like some feedback from other successful 45-man grinders as to how bad/good i played the situation and how you would have played it yourself. Thanks! First Hand: Ok, so Pianorock had been CRAZY agro 3-bet-shoving w/ K-2s, but had recently settled down after doubling someone's KK up w/ K-2. Opening hands like this, late in ... Re:is this a standard call, for your tourney life? i fold imo. even if he's on a re-steal (which, like everyone says, you should base off of his current table image and your current table image), you are still flipping to 95% of his range. Consider that and the possibility that he's not on a re-steal (in which case his range has you crushed) I think this is a fold. other's have mentioned this as well.. you have a sufficient stack left-over to re-steal later on, plus you might even pick up a hand or two before having to re-steal or shove in pos. w/ atc. all those factors, i think this is a fold (altho I don't think calling ... MTT Cash rate = 20%... but no Take Downs... Advice plz. Hey guys. I've been trying to work on my MTT game lately. I have a cash rate on full tilt and bodog of around 20% on both sites. I realize this is too high as it should be around 15%. Also, my highest finish in any MTT is 3rd place. This is through about 70 tournies on bodog and 45 on full tilt. I'm wondering if any MTT grinders can throw some pointers at me. I understand tourny strategy and know I should be playing for a top 3 spot, but whenever I find myself "making moves" to get that top 3 spot, I bust out, throw something at the wall, life-tilt, etc, etc, asking myself "what were you ... Absolutely rigged? ok, so i deposited onto absolute the other week after i saw my buddy playing there. he convinced it me it was safe and i noticed an abundance of fish, so i figured i'd give it a shot. i've been doing pretty good there and haven't seen anything wierd YET. right now, i'm playing a $6 single table sng which is supposed to start at 10/20 blinds. However, right when we start, the dealer announces we're at level two and the blinds are at 15/30, NOT the 10/20 they are supposed to start at... rigged' standard flaw' should i be alarmed' i make a mention of the matter in the chat box, but none of the ... Best Bonuses... Am I missing out? Searched for this topic, but couldn't find what i was looking for... I play on FT and Absolute right now, and am looking to deposit into Bodog and Stars. I play mostly SnG's and MTT's so rakeback is obviously not an option. The only bonuses that I've used are the standard "100% match" bonus from the site when I make an initial deposit. What sites offer the best bonuses' How can I take advantage of them' I hear all this talk about people making a decent amount from bonus promos, but I never really take advantage of them. Are bonuses over-rated' Do some people choose ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): live 1/2 no limit cash game you are entirly wrong. the only thing you said that makes any sense is shoving turn. first off, he didn't even get close to betting pot on either street, which is what he should have done... NOT over-betting. Bet pot on flop. Bet pot on turn (NOT HALF POT). Shove to his raise. You have him absolutely crushed on the turn... FELT IT. He probably read your weak bets as, well, weak, and was making a play with, well, probably nothing. Also, if anyone is dumb enough to hold onto 5-6 right here, then you're at a great table. If an 8 hits on either turn or riv, 5-6 is going to get stacked by j-10 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

brag post / what's your best comeback in a SnG? I don't have the hh verion of this game because I wasn't playing at my normal computer, however, this was the sickest comeback i've ever mounted and I had to see what others thought.. I've posted the dealers comments you get in the chat box about who wins what pots. It was a $5 6-max SnG. When I got down to heads up, I had the cl, made a couple moves that went terribly wrong and jokingly left myself 8 chips after being caught for the 2nd hand in a row. 8 to 8,992 chips. I'm obv. forced all-in for several hands in a row and proceed to win them all (one being K-8 vs. my opponents K-J, after ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
