Fri/Sat Pimlico Horse....Horseracing - Preakness, etc. I haven't been paying much attention to the Belmont card today, but the one play I made earlier was on the Rudy Rodriguez horse (8- Prohibition) in the 8th race coming up--obv not the best sign that his barn is running so cold atm but I like a few angles w this horse and he is around 15-1. Horse....Horseracing Keeneland Bluegrass and Arkansas Derby I like the 3- Undrafted (m/l 10-1) to win the Blue Grass. I think he can be the inside controlling speed in a race that surprisingly doesn't look like it has too much early pace signed on. This is also his first race over the syntheitc track without blinkers, and his dirt form has stepped way up since the removal of the blinkers. Good Luck to all who are playing today. Sat Horse Horseracing - $10mm Dubai World Cup + Fla and LA Derbies Yeah its hard to argue what the race flow looks like on paper, which doesn't set up best for Joe's Blazing Aaron, but I really like his last race a lot and I think he is primed to run well today for sure. Hopefully Johnny V. can give this horse a close range stalking trip, and he has shown a bit of ability to rate in the past which is nice to see. I think that the 5- Cool Blue Red Hot rates a longshot chance at 12-1 on the morning line so I'm gonna make a 4-5 exacta box in the 11th at Gulfstream as a saver for the win bet that I have on the 4-Joe's Blazing Aaron. Sat Horse Horseracing - $10mm Dubai World Cup + Fla and LA Derbies On the Gulfstream under card before the Fla Derby I like 2 horses in earlier stakes races. Race 8 Gulfstream Oaks- (1) Cue the Moon 4-1 m/l Race 11 Appleton Stakes- (4) Joe's Blazing Aaron 5-1 m/l Both of these horses are really live, but I especially like Joe's Blazing Aaron to run huge tomorrow. In a bag of Jolly Ranchers Because the other colors/flavors aside from red are disgusting. Oh, and grape jolly ranchers are so far and away the worst it's not even close. They will get thrown out or given to unsuspecting kids like 90% of the time. Breeder's Cup World T-Bred Horse...Horseracing Championships Fri/Sat Made a pick six wager today for a ridic small $80 total cost. Book ended it with two singles (the 2 horses I liked the most). Hit 4 out of 6 and ran 2nd in the other 2 races I lost--the 7th with Unbridled's Note (by a neck) and the 10th with The Lumber Guy(by a 1/2 length). My ticket was 1x2x5x2x2x1=40x2 for a total of 80 bucks. Fun Game. Posted in: Off Topic |

Breeder's Cup World T-Bred Horse...Horseracing Championships Fri/Sat 11-1 is an absurd overlay on the 4- Fort Larned, especially given how the main track has been playing today. I think his tactical speed gives him a huge edge over horses like Flat Out and I think he just didn't care for the Belmont surface last out. His race 2 back at Saratoga was huge and is 1-0-1 in two races at 1 1/4 miles also. He even has run a higher dirt figure than Game On Dude (who is currently 3-2) has ever run in his life. Nice to see Asmussen off to a hot start with this last win and running 2nd to the total freak Groupie Doll who prob would even be a huge contender if she raced against the boys in the sprint later. Breeder's Cup World T-Bred Horse...Horseracing Championships Fri/Sat Can obv see why you'd like Royal Delta esp off her last most impressive effort. That being said she's prob gonna go off at around 7-5 or so even in this ridiculously deep field. I haven't handicapped the races yet, but I think Questing for Mclaughlin is a really live horse in this race, esp bringing her early speed to California for the first time. She will also prob be in the vicinity of 5-1, 6-1 and I think she offers great value. I def agree that this is the best race of the day, and it might even be the best race on the whole 2 day card. ALCS Yankees vs Tigers On days where CC isn't starting I would put him in at dh and toss Ibanez in RF. If I was the manager I would do ANYTHING to make sure Nick Swisher is never in the lineup again as a Yankee. He is 1 for his last fuckin' 40 with risp for the Yanks in the playoffs (for those of u who aren't math wizards that's a chubby .025 clip). It's hard to go 1-40 if you tried to get out every time. Baseball Discussion : the pennant races Yeah, the A's have really had the Yanks number in postseason baseball history. But I do agree that if you were to pick "that team" it would prob be them this year with this latest insane run. I think the Yankees' drawers will be nice and clean though come game time if they meet in the playoffs.
