Re:22'' monitor question I just splashed out myself on a whole new system - eventually went for 2x22" widescreen Asus monitors which are AMAZING!! Really happy with them, and I can fit 12 tbls on both with slight overlap - takes some getting used to but worth every penny. fwiw I paid £155 each for mine, think that was reasonable. Re:omaha cash game Villain's line is pretty standard play at 50PLO for someone holding either A5, K5 or AK with clubs. Min raising on turn says your either beat or he has a made hand and a draw, which hits on the riv - so either way its a fold. I wouldn't say this is a fold 100% of the time by any means, esp at a higher limits, but I prefer to pick better spots to call pot bets on the riv. As most ppl have said, you should be leading out on this flop 99.9% of time, ESP if its your first hand at the table - great spot to trap ppl who think your fishy and playing Axxx waaay too strong. AJK Petition... I know this is the sentiment of 99.9% of ppl out there, and not trying to bore anyone, but I feel that AJK not posting here will have a big impact on P5s. I really hope that it's just a passing thought of yours to stop contributing here, and that you're back to the norm real soon. I believe we all benefit from each others comments and contributions, and to lose ppl like AJK would be a huge loss to everyone. I also wouldn't want it to start a precedent for other HSMTT'ers to stop posting, and although I respect it's everyone's decision to contribute or not, I sincerely ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Dave Colclough red pro...?! 1. equity of him playing in MTTs isnt even worth discussing, and clearly wasnt mentioned in OP 2. Dave Colclough is not better than the vast majority of either red pros or HS players 3. At least some of the other red pros add value to FT and the poker community by either being players to learn from or fun players to watch, and therefore they attract new players to the site again, Colclough does neither. Is this too passive for 400 PLO? Had this kinda funky hand before, not sure if my line here is good' Was close to popping it on the flop but JK1986333 was kinda steaming and tontacabrona had been weak, min raise-fold etc. Any thoughts / advice would be great. My take on this may be different as we have slightly different rules in the UK than the US when it comes to live games - in fact our cardrooms vary from city to city, let alone country to country! 1. In the UK if cards are placed face down over the line during play, the hand is declared dead. 2. If cards are shown to another player during the hand, that hand is declared dead. 3. If another person comments on hands during play they are penalised Obviously these rules are subject to each cardroom individually, so I would always say to make sure you know the rules of a cardroom before you sit ...
