I'm thinking about taking my wife to Charleston for a weekend getaway. Anybody ever been and if so when is the best time to go (doesn't have to be hot but would like it semi-warm). Where are some nice places to stay and where are some areas I shouldn't stay or venture' It can be a hotel or a bed and breakfast. Looked at going in April. Thoughts'

Favourite sports radio talk show
Locally it's 3HL (3 Hour Lunch) from 12-3 Nationally it's DP Can't stand Jim Rome. Would rather listen to static on the AM dial that that tool.

Great book for a financial newbie to learn about the stock market, retirement, etc?
You should definitely stick with Dave Ramsey as much as you can (I can't take my own advice as I have a wife who wont listen to anything me or Dave f!@#$%g say). Very conservative and his advice for the most part is common sense.

USA Today Coaches Poll released
Just be thankful your not an LSU fan. We have some of the best talent in the world and still manage to lose about 4 games a year. Our QB is erratic, RB's are unproven but we do have good WR's (although our QB can't get 'em the ball). Our D line sucks, we lost our best LB to the pros but at least our secondary is top 5 (they'll need to be since the opposing QB wont face any pressure). Then again we do have Les Miles as a coach so that should count for something (like some stupid, unintelligent, WTF was that kinda quote that makes us look bad). But hey there's always next year.

Small buy in Tourneys
I am thinking of playing in my first live tourney in Mississippi in January. The buy in is low(340) I realize for some people, but hey you gotta start somewhere. My question is are these usually 1 day events' how many people,etc.' I live about 4 hours away so is it even worth my time playing even if I do win it all (Don't worry I know I wont, I am not delusional).Also,are the players in these low buy ins so poor that if I play ABC poker I could at least go deep to get some confidence' Any constructive criticisms or thouhgts,advice,etc. would be appreciated.
