Re(1): WSOP is not at all worth the hype... why do poker player's complain about everything and anything. i agree that the pre events structure weren't great, but still very playable. and the main event structure is great. sure it has some holes in it, but as a whole, it's very good. 2 hour levels, very nice. you start w/ 20K in chips, i ended day one with only 22K, but i still am gonna have 22 big blinds on day two, could be alot worse. Re(1): To those that don't tilt if your serious i'd suggest getting a basic book on buddhism. maybe "being peace" for instance. atleast zen and the art of poker. it puts things in perspective. makes it easier to handle. been working great for me the last couple of months. good luck, very good and interesting read too. NL ring games bankroll? So I've been playing alot of cash latley at the 2/4 and 3/6 nl level. I am a mtt player in general. How many buy ins should i give myself to play at the 5/10. I was thinking maybe 15 to 20 buy ins. Just curious what the successsfull nl cash game players' thinking was for a bankroll at that level. Jew Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): With sites not being able to give people their main event seats..... I completely agree w/ skeeze. I won a wsop me package through full tilt last week. But since they are just going to put the money in my full tilt account I am going to go out to vegas in june and play in a few smaller buy in events. If i do well in any of those then I'm gonna play in the main event. I think this will show in a lower amount of me entries this year. jew Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): New Rizen Article It is that kind of thought process as to why he is a poker phenom. That is exactly what I've been trying to do in my game. And though I am still very much working on it. It has already greatly improved my play and results. Great read Rizen, please keep them coming. Jew Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): There's a reason I don't play the Majors.... I'd have to go along and agree w/ 46suited and mkind. Obviously I had a good sunday this week. But the last few weeks are the first time I have ever had any meaningful success in a sunday major. It took me about a year and a half to do that well in the UB major. I have been hating sundays alot recently w/ that same mentality as grapsfan. But one very lucky, and decent play on a sunday can make up for all of that frustration and pain. Keep putting yourself in position to do well and eventually you will get there. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Question for MTT Regulars considering that the blinds were about to hit u and u only had less than 6 orbits, i think u need to open push all in pre. if u just raise and an ace flops and u check fold, then alot of weaker hands are still pushing u off w/ the best hand. ur out of pos and short so i would open push, hope this helps.
