Temp to hire - how much raise to ask for
I always let temps manage multiple million dollar accounts. Oh, and they called me and asked me what raise they should give, and I told them to offer less than 3% since you're a former poker player. Sorry. :)

Where was your best vacation?
Last May went to Koh Samui, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, and Vietnam all in 18 days. I don't know that it will be possible for me to have a more awesome time. Had such a blast learning new culture, eating awesome food, and hanging out with some friends.

Honestly I don't understand this. Both are incredibly hard working, but in particular, Victorino is the kind of guy you want on your team. He's a spark plug and plays the game the right way. Can you explain why you hate him' I can understand Rollins calling his shot a few years ago (and being right) and you being sore about that, but I just can't get my head around hating Victorino.

DC area OT meetup this weekend (Barca vs Man United soccer match)
I know everyone is planning on getting together for the meetup this weekend. LVPokerDealer, Sweetness, and Seykota are just a few that are going. I planned on going but just found out I have to work on Sunday so won't be able to attend. If any DC-area OTer wants my tickets, shoot me a PM and I'll give you a huge discount on what we all paid. LVPokerDealer is at work right now but will be posting more info regarding the meetup when he gets home tonight. Totally sucks I can't make it. But, at least I'm going to Orlando and not some shithole for work. Sigh.

Unknown was fuckin terrible. Just watched it last night and am getting tired of Liam Neeson's recent shitty movies. It was even worse than Taken, if that's even possible. Lincoln Lawyer was solid. i made the leap
Yesterday when the CBA was signed, I get a letter from the Eagles within about 30 minutes saying "Welcome back to the NFL season." I said to my wife, "I give 'em an hour until I get another email saying it's time to pay for my season tickets." Sure enough, 45 minutes later, they send an email saying the 2nd half of my payment is due. They had delayed full payment until the season was official, but for some reason it still chapped my ass. I want to tell them to fuck off, but with a 60,000 person waiting list for season tickets, I don't think they'd care too much. Fuck.
