Wheel of Fortune reminder Thanks for all the love. It was a ton of fun, goes super fast, and is completely different than playing at home. During the hot sauce puzzle, my mind was COMPLETELY blank. I obviously know that in prize puzzles you solve as soon as you know it... I didn't know it. There were no more vowels, and I had no idea what word starts E_T that is not a vowel. Obv its an X. I just kept thinking how I was going to end up on YouTube as the dumbest contestant ever. It all worked out in the end. Obv not mad about missing the bonus round. Wheel of Fortune update Yes.... I have a roommate who was on, and another friend as well. I really didn't fully believe them when they said SOOOO much other stuff is going through your head. The contestant department meets with you between puzzles to tell you what you need to work on. "Be louder. MORE ENTHUSIASM!!!!! Call smart letters! Be LOUDER!!!" Pretty much they just yell at you to be loud, smile, and look excited. But it's really so hard to describe. No matter what you probably won't believe me, but there is one puzzle where you probably will have no idea how I did not know it, but all I was thinking in my ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Wheel of Fortune update I did well! I will probably appear like a giant idiot during my interview. During one of the puzzles you will likely be screaming at the TV saying that I am an idiot... But I still did well. It is MUCH MUCH MUCH harder than I could have imagined actually playing. Hard to control the wheel, a dozen different things to think about while the game is going on, etc. No spoilers. Episode airs Tuesday, March 22 Posted in: Off Topic |

I am going to be on Wheel of Fortune Big Hems here. I rarely post, still lurk, but thought some of you would like to know I am taping an episode of Wheel of Fortune on Feb. 24 in Culver City. I feel I know this game pretty well, and will def. spend the next week and a half practicing some puzzles, but does anyone have any other advice or suggestions for me' I'll let everyone know how it went and when it will air... Any Columbus, OH players ever play at the Gemini CLub? I've played there 2-3 times. Costs $25 for a 'year membership' and $25 each time you play. No rake. Tip dealers in 'chocolates' that aren't in play on the table. You're standard casino game. 1-3 nl. 5 people see the flop. I'd go more if I lived closer, although I recently moved to Las Vegas, so nevermind. On a given night there is probably 10-20k in cash inside that place, and 0 security... so that always kinda made me a bit nervous... but oh well. Free food in the back. Decent deal.
