Poker Stars Cashouts or lack thereof I have requested cashouts on three different occasions since May 5. My first two were to be deposited directly to my bank account (May 6 and 12). They are claiming a problem with their vender not being able to handle the tremendous volume that exists. It is now May 22 and none of my money has hit my bank. It was originally designed to be a 2 day turnaround. IS ANYONE ELSE FACING SIMILAR PROBLEMS' I am heading to Vegas June 1 to play in the early events. They now owe me over $7,200. How in Hell can this be happening at the world's biggest site. When I return to Vegas on July 7, PS ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:WSOP ME FT to be held in November I won a seat for the ME two weeks ago on pokerstars. I'm 62 years old and have various medical issues that men of my age face. If I make the final table and have to wait 4 months to play, I could drop dead and miss out on a ton of money. Yeah, they will probably pay all final tables seats 9th place money immediately but how do I protect against what the gods may have in store for me' If there is anyone in the life insurance business who might have an idea what an eight million dollar policy for five months might cost I'd like to know. After all 8 mil is 8 mil. Maybe if I sue ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Mansion screwing USA players Thanks for responding to my post. 1, A class action would work in the USA. The company is based in Gibraltar and they probably wouldn't come here to defend because of costs. Hence they would settle or face a default judgment. After that, based on compacts our government has with Gibraltar, the judgment would be executible. I have an attorney in Vegas who, without charge, would be willing to file a suit. If a judgment was obtained, he would be entitled to statutory fees. 2. Obviously the $120 means very little to me. That's not the point. 3. Yesterday I received a call from Sarah ... Mansion screwing USA players The site won't return a $120 deposit I made 2 years ago. First they wanted proof of age. I gave it to them. Now they say they no longer deal with american players BUT if I want to get my money I have to sign up with and they will transfer it there HOWEVER there will be wagering requirements to be met before I can take it. Anyone else facing this crap' Why do I have to wager before getting MY money' Fraud!!!. I'm a retired attorney and will contemplate a class action if enough american players are also going through this. I've set up a special email account with yahoo if you ... To all my P5's friends: Bighog is coming back As most of you may know from previous posts, I have spent the last 3 years jumping from coast to coast with my telecom consulting business. For the first year or so, I had the advantage of being on the west coast allowing me to enter most 9pm EDT tournaments at 6pm so rarely did my work get in my way of playing multi table poker. The last year or so has been much tougher because I have been on the east coast and tournaments ran too late for me to play. Of course, most weekends remained tough because of family commitments. Enough is enough. When March 1 arrives, I will be retiring from ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): WSOP seats on multiple sites Beware BA, the new regs are giving the sites fits. FT is not entering you. They will tell you to report to Vegas at series time and pick up the cash for your entry. Hence, I believe you will be unable to get an Email from Harrah's confirming you seat because FT is not giving the information to Harrah's. The regs, according to Harrah's, prevents them from accepting seats from FT and the other for entries for AMERICAN players. Hog Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): This should not be tolerated!!!!!! Ari, Believe it or not, I have always been a first amendment absolutist. I practiced law for 25 years beginning in 1973 and defended (along with the late William Kunstler), the socalled Pittsburgh 11 who were cited for burning a flag during an anti VietNam war demonstration. That being said, I don't consider this a first amendment issue. This player who offended me tonight has the right to say whatever he wants but....and this is a big "but", when he joins a poker site he must comport with certain rules of decorum in this closed environment. That is in PS's rules of player conduct. If he ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): This should not be tolerated!!!!!! This is Ps response Hello BigHog, Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. I have looked over the chat logs, and agree that some of this player's remarks were inappropriate. Our goal at PokerStars is to be a fun place to play, where everyone can feel comfortable. I have sent this player a warning asking that he/she refrain from this type of behavior in the future. If this warning goes unheeded, chat privileges will be revoked.
