I agree with this 1 mirrion percent. There is a reason why Full Tilt always crashes and moves disgustingly slow. While the final table backgrounds are cool and all, they contribute to super lagginess of the whole site. If you want to know if you're at a final table on PokerStars just look at the middle of the table. It either says "Tournament Table" or "Final Table". Please don't change anything Stars. Your software is the smoothest and fastest by far. There are always more than double the amount of players on Stars than Tilt at any given time. And everything ...

Is there makeup involved' Or is it just a pure freeroll' If there is makeup then 60/40-50/50. If no make up then 65/35-80/20. It all depends on what the risk is. Are you a consistently winning player' 8 $12-180 man turbos isn't a big enough sample so it is a gamble. I would say 70/30 with no makeup is a fair split. If there is going to be cake then anywhere from 50/50-60/40 is fair.

Why didn't you re-raise pre' You kinda left yourself in no man's land and have to fold. f you 3 bet preflop you could have gotten a bit more info as to is holding what. Obv villain is holding any pair or A2. But which is it' If you 3 bet pre A2 and most small to mid pairs go away. If you get 4 bet you have enough chips to lat it down because you are obv beat.

I do understand that people get ripped off all the time. And that's what makes this such a hard thing to get accomplished. One of my backers finished in the TLB top 100 last year on Stars. I'm not about to go ripping people off. The poker community is really not that big. I do this for a living now and have no desire to have my name bashed all throughout this site and 2P2. I live by the Golden Rule, "Do unto others..." and "Don't bite the hand that feeds you".

My stats aren't the greatest but they are pretty good. I was ranked 720 on OPR for 2009 out of 1.7 some odd million people. I've been on the site for 3 days now and I'm still not allowed to create a BAP. I understand that people aren't just going to pass money out to unknowns but I do see people getting stakes when they are barely in the black with no volume. Haha! This is kinda why I started this thread. I was +$50K in profit for 2009 with an average buy in of $45. I've been backed by friends in the past and made them a lot of money. We all pulled everything off at the end of last November beacause we were scared the UIGEA was going to not allow us to. Now I can't get any money back on without using Western Union or paying ridiculous fees. I can't find any decent stakes because I am still a new member and have no player points. It seems like most of the stakes being offered are for $1 and under MTT/SnG's at 60/40 or worse with ...

This and how many chips do you exactly have' If you are in the 18,000 range you can call the raise and play post flop. If you are in the 15,000 range calling seems like a horrible play. Overcards will come on the flop too often to play optimally post flop. If you're villain is the loose aggressive type, shoving preflop will be most profitable. It all depends on the exact situation. 18K in chips is a pretty big difference than 15K with the blinds at 500/1000 level imo. We need more details to be able to give you a good answer

This can pretty much work however you want it to work. IMO the best a fairest way to do it is with a 50/50 split + makeup. Meaning you get a 50% cut of all profit after the stake has been paid back. So let's say you gave him $300 and he then turned that into $2300. He would give you back the $300 and then you would split the difference. If he loses the $300... In most situations he wouldn't owe you $300 out of his pocket. You would then have to restake him and add that original $300 to the cake. If he is a winning player this shouldn't be a problem because over the long run he is ...
