We call the higher ranked card in poker the piant the paint would be J,Q,K then the highiest isnt piant and that is of coourse the ace or the rocket.

Here's what I do in this case I rasie allin becuase you said you have 6.5k right and 3k at 600 blinds is 5x BB so someone might see you do that and say well he committed half his chips lets put him in the rest of the way with a far less hand then what you have and beleive me. I have seen this happen and have had this happen alot in a live tournment. So I would push in and see if the guy you thought had TT or JJ was a correct read and see if the guy you have pushed around really had AK or AQ becuase if your read is right you get both to call and your sitting on a 3-1 favorite position at least ...

Awww give Gator a break man usually he plays really tight and is one of the tightiest players on I have been following several of the top 10 pocketfives players and have watched several tournments were gator has gotten sucked out with stuff like AAA KKK or even a high flush to striaght flush this was just an instince were he had about 8 out's and felt like take ing a risk and you made the pot right for him to do it.

This is the worst beat I ever had in my life lol
I was sitting in a 10/20 limit holdem table on the Sun Cruz ship out of Mederia Beach,FL when I first started playing poker seriously and low and behold bamm I look down at KK well I rasie the bet everyone folds but 3 people one rerasies so i call and others call too well to my suprise the flop comes down KKA and I rasie rasie rasie the other guys stay in too with me and the other person then the turn is a blank and i rasie rasie rasie everyone is still in and I am thinking to myself damn I'm going to make 700-800 off this pot man than bamm on the river the A falls I rasie rasie reasie and ...

I'm sorry Imperial but there is no subsitute for expereince the only way to learn the game is play the top starting hands and then learn from playing every hand you can so that when you run into situations you know what to do and how to play it . It takes time and I mean alot of time to work your game into something that will make you money constently. I will tell you that in no-limit cash games that low you want to play the top 20 or so starting hands to see the flop and if you are rasied the pot preflop with anything less then AA KK or QQ then throw your cards in the muck there's always ...

Here's how Iplay omaha hi/low I have a theory and it makes major money aim for the low and the high will come. Here are some of the best starting hand in Omaha Hi/Low A234 A235 AA23 AA24 AA25 A345 KK23 AK23 and as you can see the trend toward low use them and youll make money I play in a 1/2 game here in Florida and buy in for 60 and have been know to walk out with over 1200 in one session playing these and just a few other starting hands. Also you have to be willing to be very patient and fold when your flop goes the other way on you.

Brian your aan up and coming star man dont let the beats get you down man just pray the players keep calling with AJ to a set of 9's becuase 99.9% of the time your gonna win it man. I seen you play not a bad night what almost 1k and two final tables in the only two turney's played tonight dont sweat it man you played great.
