Backing and Staking Discussion
Friends feel entitled. Seems to be a lot of people who feel this way nowadays. I am a backer, and I do buy pieces of players in this exact same way. I would definitely want to buy piece of satellite in this instance, but I would have discussed it prior to. i would not feel entitled to it at all. You owe nothing. If you pay you are enabling them to try to pull this on you and others in the future.

Is rebuying at the start of an MTT a bad bet?
i do not know a lot about ICM or calculations of it ( ok I know nothing about it). Will post a couple thoughts that i have on this. A lot of times, especially on tilt, the blinds go up pretty slowly, and after the rebuy period, and before blinds get big, the amount of times you get all in to double up is rare ( at least for me and my playing style). So durng those times, i have 3500 at end of rebuy hour instead of 5k. The majority of the time, i chip up not double up. Which puts me still only 1500 chips shorter than where i would have been. Sometimes those 1500 chips would come in handy, ...

Wine Drinkers?
I agree with Waco, start with Pinot Noir, and even some Malbec's or Merlot. As your taste for it grows, you will want mostly cabernet. I wouldnt start with Shiraz.

PLO8 hand
Call Flop, jam turn. Check folding not an option at any point. or bet folding for that matter. This is as you played it. Best line is to checkraise flop as stated by others. if you don't want to checkraise this flop, fold pre. If he flats flop, I jam 100% of turn cards.

Strange rule at the bicycle casino yesterday
This happened to me at the Bike once. I was just folding under the gun, and the cards slid a bit too far off the slick table, and one fell on the floor. I got a penalty also. may have something to do with the way the tables are. never happened to me before or after that. For those saying that they should sit out 4 hands, I think that would be a bit much. When I got a penalty at the WSOP, the whole table, besides the person who called the penalty out, suggested I dont get a penalty, and/or make it one hand instead of one round. So there are people who do at least try to stand up for it.

flat or jam in the 1k on stars?
Definitely get called by worse a lot in this situation, the problem is if you raise, you cant really fold. I think that considered, I flat river, so you arent almost dead the times you are beat.

Who plays PLOHL ?? Comment on my 10th place bustout hand?
Some additional info after reading thread 1. Flatting Your hand preflop here is horrible. 2. The villain played his hand fine, I probably play it exact same way, and shove virtually any flop. Although sometimes I may check here. 3. Villain should never fold to single 3 bet in this situation 4. More "experts" come play PLO8 Cash. It is easy money and fun to play :)

Who plays PLOHL ?? Comment on my 10th place bustout hand?
If I am your opponent, I put you in with a lot of hands you are beating. I put you in with pretty much any pair with a low draw. That being said, many players do not, so do not know if this is a call or fold here. I sure dont think it is a huge mistake to call though. How many times is he gonna snap off the nuts here, and how many times does he have dry low draw. A lot of stuff in the middle has you beat too, but you are getting over 2-1. The AA has value in this spot, and so does the A6, unlikely they both have value, but in many spots at least one will be good. If he is nit, fold, if he ...

Is Make A Deal on FTP +ev in 6max? Jennifear?
I have to be honest, If I ever had a question like this, which i wont, but if I did. I would most definitely ask jennifear. And I have no idea who it is, besides her posts here. kinda seems like the standard to go by. She, or he(if I am wrong about name) should charge more for services.
