Re:Good places to live in Cali for 2-3 months???
Compton, Watts, or East LA. Oh wait, if you want to get back to Canada alive, best spots for young single guys with some cash are Manhattan Beach or Newport Beach. Santa Monica is cool, and so is Pasadena also.

Re:Seriously looking for some advice
Why Live play' You can grind sng's or lower stakes cash tables 4 at a time, reduce your variance, and have a higher payback.

And yes, to Sigma's point, if you are choosy on tables, this will significantly augment your ROI obv.

Re:Anyone else have a Full Tilt check bounce?
I have cashed out at least 30 times via check and never had one bounce. That is really strange. Send support an email.

Re:Single table online professionals
I average $8/game profit on FTP @ around 13% ROI. I usually play 2 or 3 at once, and I play turbos, so I make the $20/hr that is your target. To obtain this however, you need to be in top 10% of all sng players (check out sharkscope for comparisons to see how you stack up against top tier) and you need to play at least $50 stakes. $100 is better. Disclaimer is I am not a pro, only a part timer, but at around 1,000 games that is a good sample size to know where somebody is at.

Re:Re(1): BEANMO - Where is the variance? Is he THAT good?
I own this guy in games we have played together @ $55+5 Turbo level on FTP. Beanmo is highly overrated. Just plays high volume and FTP is full of fish, so grinds it out long term. Easy money, the majority of you could win at 15% ROI clip but the average Joe lacks the patience.

Re(3): Jennicide or Jennifear I'm confused
Sorry meant > 40% wp and 20% ROI. SNG's can be very profitable but you need to play high volume and at higher limits, but don't move up before you own game at lower levels.

Oldman come sweat on Paradise for free and I would be glad to help you. Play higher limit (50, 100) sng's and have >40% ROI. Always looking to help other P5ers out who are eager to learn. BB

Re(5): SNG problem... any advice?
Come sweat at me on Dise I play $50 and $100 sng's and my wp% is 40. Unlike the cash proponent above sng's are very profitable. Come find me if you want experienced help. GL.

Re(3): SNG problem... any advice?
If you are reaching lottery time consistently (final 4) then you are doing well outlasting the donks. Have to play tight early and hyperaggressive late. Appears you know this as you have good WP% & good ROI. Better play/tighter play at higher $ levels so continue to build your bankroll before you move up. GL. BB

Re(5): Poker Prophecy
That is true of Dise as well... also, even mentioning Prophecy (in jest or otherwise) will get your chat turned off indefinitely. Happened to several people. BB1

Poker Prophecy
Anyone else completely fed up with Poker Prophecy' It gives general idea of skill level in SNG's but is consistently 3 - 5% off and misses a ton of games. For me, for instance, it shows 37.2% win percentage primarily at $50 level. My own stats show > 40%. We're talking about almost 600 games played, there shouldn't be this big of a disparity. I advocate avoiding this software, speaking from experience... unless you can accept getting "more or less" the idea of the talent at your sit and go. Anybody else have thoughts' Is there a better tracking program out there for SNG's' Thanks. Billy ...
