Simple question, who in the top 500 online players have CHILDREN?
You learn quick that you are only going to be able to play MTT's that start ~8pm or after.

Re:Scoop question
use them to play the $215's, but if you have a few take a stab and try to at least step 5, then you can try one of the $700 MTT's they will run. This, IMO, is best shot at a huge score starting with a low buy-in and with all the redo's it eliminates a good bit of variance

Re:2010 Spring Championship of Online Poker -- Feedback Request Thread
How will steps be intergrated into sattying into the $1,050, $2,150, and $5,200 tournies' Any chance of having Step 6 tix being used for $2,150 buyins again' Would be great to have Step 6 SNG that paid seats to the $5,200 buyin. If i remember you had this last yeat but the Omaha Hi-lo Never ran. If you had Step 6 NLHE that paid multiple winners tix to ANY $5,200 buy in would be the bomb

Re:just turned 21, going to Tunica, need advice
Gold Strike Horseshoe Harrahs only ones worth thinking about. All the 1/2NL or 1/3NL games are very beatable. Plenty of old regs, but mostly an easy game. Harrahs should be tight with the circuit in town, i played events last couple of years, lots of people there

Re:The Good Ol' Days...(Pre-2006/UIGEA)
Biggest difference was cash out ability. Win tourney for $600, withdraw to Netteller, drive to ATM withdraw winnings immediately, not to much worse than walking to the cage in the casino.....those were the days

Re:This is a very interesting post...to say the least
Such BS, if someone i knew was sitting out a siginificant period of time you just let them know, its called common courtesy. To then expect something from him in return is pretty f'in low. GTFO with all the "binding contract" BS. You did the guy a favor, well done, dont expect him to compensate you for it. He ships you $100 nice gesture on his part.....

Re:Getting billed by stars from deposits made over a month ago
I just got the same email, I knew they never took the $$, and i figured they would come looking one day. My question is that they have always claimed they will NEVER ask for your password and the link directs you to input user name and password. I would think if this was what they wanted a popup would notify you after you log in, not just a "phishing" type email asking for user name and password. I would recommend everyone wait a bit as i am sure we owe the money but make sure you are not opening yourself up by enetering user name /password on the web

Re:Stars and the last minute Hyper Turbo Sats
For Stevie444, not a bad thing. Could care less if they ran these twice as often, but would be nice if they had more sats to these tournies other than these hypers running every 3 minutes before the event. It seems as though they are relying more on these, which are a crapshoot, than having a regular tourney allowing you to satty into a higher buy in

Stars and the last minute Hyper Turbo Sats
Do they really think that these are going to help fill up the High level tournies. I say that based on the terrible sattys before the event. Did they think alot of the entries were going to come from the Hypers at the end' Every 6 max satty has Jorj and Stevie registered, who obv. are already registered in the $1,575. Did Stars think these hypers were going to really help fill the tournies. They serve as little more than crapshoots for some high stakes guys to pump up their roll.

Re:Overlay much?
Talk about nice pay scale. Finish 12th in a 120 man and get 5x your buy in. Who exactly thought 200 would pay $1,000 to play 5 card draw' Hell, even the $100 has an overlay looks like. LOL, 1000 people playing $109 Five Card Draw. Looks like Stars took a $90,000 or so hit on 5 card draw after factoring in the rake they kept. Dont think we will see this high a guarantee if its in the WCOOP

Re:Scoop games that are likely to have additional prize pool?
Normally, you would think no way there woudl be an overlay on any of these. But with so many high stakes tournies, and crap sattys to them, (with some people keeping the w$) i woudlnt doubt it. At first there wont be, but after a week if many guys with the big bankrolls are running bad, they may be less likely to buy in to some of the later obscure events. This is alot of buyin $ to play a number of events. Will be interesting. Another note on the sats, i noticed with the PLO8 especially its the same guys in them, most of which are probably in the tourney anyway. With the turbos paying 1 in ...

Re:SCOOP Satties Updated
Could not agree more, after bubbling a $97, a $97, and a $320 today i am done with the sattys. Each had the minimum to pay 1 seat and second got your money back. I would prefer sattys that didnt run as often but got more runners. I was hoping for a good turnout in the $320 Horse to the $1050, pays 1 out of every 3.5. I think we had 5 runners. Also, why so many of these are 1 in 20 get in is beyond me Unless they know behind the scenes that a bunch of high rollers are going to jump in these obscure events the may have a hard time making the guarantee, $5,200 O8, $2,100 TD, $4,000ish 8 game ...

Re:scoop satties
FP, i could not agree more. I have doubts that they will meet the guarantees on all the tournies unless a number of ballers buy in at the last minute. WIth so many high $ ina row that migh tbe tough. These sattys are worse than terrible. For alot of them, horse and plo8 1 in 20 get in (50 to 1000), Most get cancelled anyhow.
