Re(2): whats the best concert youve been to?
I saw ACDC as one of the main acts that opened for the Stones here in Toronto for a concert called SARS-Stock that drew almost 500,000 people. They stole the show. Period. Those guys can still really bring it.

Re(4): My Statement
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, that somehow finds a way to justify zeejustin's behaviour, or worse, feels he deserves that 100k, has lost all perception of what is right and what is wrong. Look in a mirror if you support him, because that means you support everything that your parents taught you is wrong in life...

Re(3): Isiah Thomas
lmao that anyone could possibly blame the Knicks POS season on Larry Brown. I'll take Brown's record over any Knick player, and over Isiah. Thomas is the ultimate pompous ass that is going to be the reason the Knicks never see .500 this decade, let alone next year. They have the worst collection of talent in terms of chemistry I have ever seen. My god the Raptors even sliced through them recently by 30 frickin points. Think about that.

Re(2): Best 5 songs ever written
kudos to choosing Badlands To this day, I have never heard a better written song by Bruce than Jungleland. For me after Jungleland 1) Imagine/Lennon and Lucy in Sky - Beatles - cant decide, i loved em both for their words 2) For what it's worth - Buffalo Springfield 3) Backstreets - springsteen 4) St. Stephen - The Dead 5) Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Re(3): consumed by the game
I remember growing up...wanting to be the next Tom Watson. I loved golf as a kid and got quite good at it. My parents never stood in my way, but made sure that school always came first. You have the rest of your life to choose your career, but the education' Many think that quitting school because of a little online poker success is the way to go. Many of those that make that decision need to think harder. Finish your BA or whatever you are studying. Then hit the tables. That degree is the key to you ever getting a job in the real world if poker doesn't work out. No one hires in the white ...

Re(5): To the JJProdigy fans - money and respect
No beanie, it's not called taking "online poker serious." It's called caring about my money. I was always taught...."your fault for trusting a poker player." Well, I don't trust this story. I don't trust many others who have rushed to his defense...many of whom have likely met him at live tournies no doubt....and employ a similar strategy now (or in the past) in tournies. This is appalling that people, many of whom claim to have the best interest of the game at heart, are having the audacity to stand up for this person and it. You guys must want the fish or beginners to run for the ...

Re(3): My Explanation
"I don't personally feel like all of the comparisons to live poker apply with online." Well, why not' If this type of activity gets condoned, and the "rich get richer" expect your commissions for signing new players to online tournament poker to shrink. People by nature are not stupid and will wise up to this farce....and take their money back to the brick and mortar casinos.

Re(2): My Explanation
point one - agreed, but methinks it is time to start believing. This is not the first time there has been a story of this nature. This one just has extra notiriety due to the player and what he accomplished point 2 - always believe a poker player, right' point 3 - except that he stated that he kicked grandman off her cpu and took over, shutting the door behind him. Please. point 5 - agreed on gbmantis, awesome 750k, was fun to watch, funny guy to boot point 6 - this point is just disgusting it's so laughable. How dare someone whine about someone playing with a clear get out of jail free ...

Re(2): EASY ON JJ PLEASE
That anyone has condoned this is stunning, just f-ing stunning. GG me on poker sites if this is allowed to continue. I'll stick to live poker where at least I can see my opposition and not fear a mirror/ghost.

Re(5): At what point did u online "pros" know it was time to go "pro"
Best of luck to you Roland. I chose work over poker. Wasn't easy, but in my heart I felt I couldn't handle the swings or a long term losing streak. My ego and inability to accept defeat, even when taking a bath financially, swayed my decision to put stability...even if seemingly boring...first.
