What can of profit can be expected for a live cash player at $3/5. I used to grind a little bit online but never put in proper broll management and or the hours it took to sustain longterm winrates but definetly spent enough time to learn and improve my game. I was taught by a solid online HS Reg a few years back and now study up with a few buddies as we all play live at this point. I put in about 4 hrs a week studying the game/including bouncing hands, situations, reads, and analysis off a few friends. It keeps me sharp because the play is so poor at the low stakes cash games that you can get complacent sitting at tables for multiple hours per day. My ... Posted in: Live Poker |

Line dispute... My buddy just sent me this hand and we've been discussing the optimal line when he re pops us... Any thoughts''' He said villain had been playing normal not to out of line... his own image was a little aggressive... The event had 89 runners and there were 12 ppl left.. poker on cruise ships? For the most part there isn't hold em' on cruise ships. They will consider opening a a 6 - 7 player game per request for 2-5 maybe but they take 10 percent rake up to 15 dollars so it's impossible to beat the rake as people usually don't buy in for more than a 100... I know it was 36K runners and their is gonna be some people that come out of nowhere and run like god when it matters but still 47 games, thats what some people put in a day. But to the poker aspect... Theirs next to no 3 betting pre which is redic, so many c/f missed flops, people basically blinding out, and the sense of value bet or opening range and frequency is just not there.. Questions about backing? I was wondering how people get backed and how a player goes about trying to get backed at certain stakes. I am interested in it and have been backed once before by a friend but it was short term. It went well I just don't know how to go about inquiring about finding another one. Any advice would be helpful... Re:rail call if you're bored GG, a few quick notes.... bet sizing and limping should be looked at on your end... set mining UTG in those isn't profitable with the effective stacks in play regarding to the blinds, I wouldn't limp any hand regardless in the 90 mans there. Second, the hand when you led for 60+ pot and folded to a min raise post flop you might as well lead for like 35 percent of pot then reshove light giving you fold equity because he's doing that 100 percent of the time there, either or lead for 35 percent then fold.. solid finish tho keep it up!
