Good strategy for a live re-buy tourney
What would be a good strategy for the following live (well, electronic) re-buy tourney: $50 entry (5K stack) 25/50 blinds, 20 min levels $25 rebuys ( only if u bust, but you get a full 5K chip rebuy ) -rebuys for the first 90 minutes -usually around 50 entrants thx for input

Let's figure out how many tournaments=1 rush tournament for a MTT'er
maybe you can figure it on a hands/hr basis' ...and i think its higher than 2.5 closer to 4 or 5 maybe

id jam turn, he should call with any kinda draw or pair cuz ur stack is nothing to his... if u c turn then if hes drawing u get nada when u jam river, and ur gonna b pissed if he gets there for free

i have faith but u must run gooooooot, maybe even better than that... all u gotta do is win 7 flips (assuming ur covered every time), but i would stop at 6 (cuz im a nit)

Sync Break on STTs?
ive always thought that ALL tournys should be sync breaked, in fact i avoid everything without breaks. cosign ... also, I would like to see a longer break (like 10 minutes) every 4 or 6 hours... but that will prolly never happen

My thoughts and views on low limit tournies and rebuys.
Great post sir, I have had some success at the lower stakes as well using many of these same techniques. I have also taken down the 3r (which is still my fav tourn for a number of reasons) as well as the 22 cubed and the 2.75 (12.5K Gar). A few things I would add is basically any of the cubed and squared tourneys are great due to the additional chips/structure etc. I know it seems common sense but a lot of times less than half the field is not immediately rebuying. Which IMO is a great disadvantage to them and obv and advantage for you to always buy in for the max, and almost always ...

The add-on is a joke too. You get 7.5 BBs for the add-on. The other 1r1a's give 5K for add-on. I know its a turbo but WTF' The whole tourney is a joke IMO. Not well thought out.

Well, who needs to wiz every hour' And 5 minutes to wiz, grab something to eat etc. just isnt long enough. The way its set up you real don't get the full 5 minutes anyhow cuz if ur in a hand at the begginning or break then you may be a minute or 2 into the break before the hand ends, leaving youonly 3 minutes to wiz and get something to eat...

Sync Break Tweak
Sync breaks are the greatest thing since sliced bread but I think there needs to be a small adjustment... In a 24 hr period we have a total of 24-5 Minute breaks or 2 hours total. I think the breaks could be divided better. Ideas: 1. 10 Minute break every 2 hours (much better than 5 min every hr IMO) 2. 20 minute dinner break @ 6,7 or 8 EST 3. You like it as is and tell me to GTFO 4. Your ideas Post ur ideas and maybe we can get stars to send out a poll' And we know whatever stars does the other rooms will follow suit. :)

-Sync Break ALL SNG's, reason being that more guys grinding MTTs would mix them in if they were -15-20 min dinner break every day at 6,7 OR 8 EST -Visual Time banks -More deep stack, long blind structured tournys.

On full-tilt, there will be a sharkscope leader board and a reputable escrow. This will probably turn into a montyly contest. The reasoning for the 2 qualifying buy-ins is to generate more interest. There are already 9 other people interested in this including vito from another site. Some people don't ness have to roll to play the $26 but they do the $13. And since it is an ROI contest and both the $13 and $26 BI SNGs have the exact same structure, it does not matter what amount of either game you play as long as the total games played is the same (200). Also it gives everyone a fair chance at winning something due to the multi-tier payout. Any questions just ask, I will be as clear as possible.
