Poker has become more and more popular and accepted to the general public, but it's still not there. It kind of goes in line with what I was saying what I love about poker, but what I hate about it. Do most pros hate poker and the lifestyle around it? This is what's great about poker and what I also hate about it. When people are too stubborn to evaluate their game and decide to start complain and whine about it which accomplishes nothing. It's great in the fact that it weakens competition from players that fall in this trap staying stagnant and making the same mistakes, but it's also annoying when you have to put up with the complaining to your face. I've been amazed at how immature live players can get when their emotions get the best of them, even if they are like 40 year old adults, but acting like they are 12. This is an interesting ... Annoying PokerStars Just wondering if i'm just retarded, but i used to be able to scroll down in stars lobby with the wheel of my mouse and idk if its cuz of getting windows 7 or new stars download, but i can only scroll down using the arrow button on side. Anybody else have this problem' cuz its really annoys me Also, just side note, its annoying how stars keeps blinking on the task bar on tables that you have to click on even tho there is like no action to be seen, but it keeps blinking and i'm like I KNOW!! Take on Backer? Pros-A lot of this depends on the individual, but it's easier on my mind being backed and it forces me to be responsible with both my roll and my play. It's a specific set of instructions and you just follow them. It also helps me stay motivated to play. It also helps a lot in the live arena. Cons-It obv sucks having to give up 50% of profit I do think its important to have a backer that you can match up to their personality. You don't want a backer that is ignorant about the game and variance. Also, some ppl suck when it comes to adding stress. Just something to keep in mind Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Friends that don't understand what ur doing as profession....? Do any of you guys have friends that don't understand when u explain that you play poker for your main income as a profession' They always lable you as "oh, you always gamble as a living, huh'" and almost just don't think that you are being legitimate' They always ask questions like how much you make and stuff even though that's a completely inappropriate question to ask a single person no matter what' IDK, I just wanna hear people's thoughts on this....plz have at it.... -BleedBlue33 Posted in: Poker Discussion |
