Ohio State football program/Jim Tressel could be in big trouble
Nobody in the news conference said he was innocent. The university gave him a 2 game suspension. The NCAA has plenty of time to evaluate everything. Maybe there will be more punishment. I will not give any excuses if UM beats OSU in 2012. I will be embarrassed because it would be a bigger upset than App St. beating UM. MOST NCAA VIOLATIONS REPORTED SINCE 2000. Ur rite. I cant argue facts.

Shallowcal u leave out key points in ur argument. The reason this came out in April of last year was due to a federal drug investigation. There are emails that back Tressel. Im sure the NCAA will investigate. Hopefully for u they find out the story is all made up and they put Tressel in jail

Thx Shallowcal. Congrats on being a fan of team mediocrity and the violations that occurred over the Rich Rod era. U know u have a point. Its disappointing to not have won more than 1 title. But not nearing as disappointing as getting my ass kicked by my rival for the last decade and losing to MSU for the last 3 years all the while practicing more than allowed and still not getting it rite. I am rooting for Michigan actually. Big Ten football needs Michigan to return to a competitive level.

Oh Shallowcal. I remember what it was like to be down....to celebrate stuff like seeing my rival suffer cuz my team couldnt beat em on the field. Im sure Ann Arbor is going nuts. U think I dont understand what the allegations mean...is it because u think all Buckeye fans are dumb fcks' Which team on the OSU schedule would have beat the Bucks with these players suspended' Wisconsin and Iowa would be it. In the situation there was not a cover up for fear the national championship would be lost because admittedly the schedule was so fckn weak they could win anyways. I'm sure u dont ...

Welp.....u caught us. Such a dirty program. This is all over 7k worth of tattoos between 6 guys on the football team. Fckn filthy program. I agree though. Rules were broken. Should Tressel lose his job over it' According to the contract if the yahoo report is accurate I guess so. All over tattoos....and supposedly not reporting it. Shallowcal, u nailed it. Maurice Clarett certainly looks legit now. Such an egregious act should result in only one outcome. Shut the fckn program down.

Outside of a mtt at a casino, here are some basic generalizations in tournament poker 1. Alot of limping-early on in a tourney raises will not deter these limpers. Ace rag is a monster hand for the limper. 2. Only see their hand. Some will recognize when a str8 or flush draw hits, but top pair will not be folded by most....u will hear a lot of "I will pay to see it" and "I knew you had it" 3. Checking the nuts. Typically through the turn. Very easy to recognize in a raised pot. 4. 3 betting is the virtual nuts and is perceived as such. One of 3 hands-AA, KK, AK with an occasional QQ ...

What Should I play with an $80 bankroll on FTP
Agree with $3 90 man KO. Also $1 90 man double stack. $1 rebuys easy way to get stack early, but with bankroll may have to play tighter than you would like during rebuy period.

Rewarding Quality Players not Rich Players
Welp, I went ahead and opr'd that luckbox mement. He's up over 400k on full tilt in mtts this year, but I don't believe it. He's a nit, plays scared and his highest percentage of ROI comes at the $10-20 level. This tells me he must not be ne good at da higher levels. I think there has to be sum mistake in opr's calculations. I give original poster a slight edge in sum type of challenge that will involve an equal number of total tournaments.

How the Grinder will bust out of the ME..
His initial descent will start in a raised pot where he calls a raise with a small pocket pair, then stations off 3 barrels with an underpair that fails to improve leaving him half stacked. The rest of his chips go the way Appst08 noted. Norman Chad will say the rest of the remaining players are relieved "the best player at the table" has been taken out. Reality will be his opponents are disappointed he didn't come to the table with the chip lead.

Take a closer look at the hand. Hero is on the button. Original raiser is in hijack. Hero has position and with a 3bet is repping a big hand. In most cases I believe he will induce a fold preflop with a 3bet. The optimal way to play the hand really depends on the perception of the opener.

Ur Biggest equity suck-outs which propelled u to your biggest scores
Inaugural Meektown Memorial Day Tourney Circa 2010. 2nd major of the year. I have won the last 2 majors (Meektown Labor Day Superstack and the Draft Day Invitational). $30 freezeout with 12 runners. I held the chip lead or was 2nd in chips for most of the tournament. Leading up to the suck out I simply start shoving weak tight mulestains preflop in late position, having to show down 5 high at one point. Needless to say my aggression eventually caught up with me. So after a few hero calls and reckless futile shoves, I was down to 8 bbs 5 handed and it was my button. It folded ...

Has anyone played a tourney on a plane?
I have played sngs. One thing I noticed was my computer ran outta juice in about 2.5 hours. I gotsa HP dv7-3065dx which is known for its lack of battery life. I had it fully charged when I boarded. I believe I get 3+ hours normally, but I have never officially timed it and there is no reason I am aware of that would cause a battery to lose power faster in the air. I am pretty computer illiterate neways. GL

I would post the email. Pokerstars has support that periodically checks these threads (I think). Maybe with the email they can give you an answer since I am assuming they are not responding to your reply to the original email.
