Last Night's Voided FTP $40K
I know several P5ers were still alive when we were down to 15, just curious as to what everyone got because that FTP rep made it sound like we would get what was guaranteed, plus chip chop, and then additional apologetic compensation (or something along those lines.) Just curious as to what you guys got, I think they gave me $2,322 and I guess I was in 9th. RandALLin, StoneEdge (whothehell), bigcheese, atimos, cmoney''''

Re(1): FTP down?
In the case of the 40k: 31.3. If the tournament had reached the money - All players still in the tournament at the time of the cancellation will be awarded with the next guaranteed payout and have their tournament fee returned. In addition, the remaining prize pool will be distributed amongst the surviving players based on their chip counts.

I emailed FTP's great support staff, naturally nothing but an automated email. Also tried to get on their poker forums to no avail. Do any of the P5s staff have any contacts over there to get us some updates'

Re(1): *Serious Discussion* BeL0W's style in NLHE MTTs
Great post Zpaceman and congrats on your success. Although I would consider my style to be much similar to yours, I do feel that the high volume LAG and take chances to build a stack strategy can be effective online as well as in the live arena. I feel the best example of this is Daniel Negreanu, although he doesn't necessarily play a high volume of tournaments compared to us online players he does play nearly all of the 10k+ buy in events. And if you notice he basically is either extremely deep/final tabling major live events (although he only had a higher tier cash in the PCA) or he is out ...

Re(6): Hand against Tmay - Deep in UB $200K
I would say that 7s are a slight favorite here over AK (and of course considering the pot odds and if my hand were face up its an easy +EV call), however, why I am alluding to the 7s as a slight favorite over the AK is because in comparison the rest of my range I would be a dominating favorite favorite (w/ 88-QQ I am roughtly a 4-1 favorite), and obv. w/ the pot only laying 1.36 to 1, would make a call incorrect. My question is not why did he call with 7s here where he was a slight favorite, but how did he justify calling in this spot when he was likely way behind most of my range, when he ...

Re(6): Hand against Tmay - Deep in UB $200K
Sure his stack isn't huge and this would give it a little hit, but upon folding he would still have almost an M of 10. By no means huge, but by no means a desperate stack.

Re(4): Hand against Tmay - Deep in UB $200K
Yes I am well aware that Tmay of all people isn't too concerned about busting out of a tournament, why I mention tournament life is because he is opting to put his whole tournament on a situation where at best he is a slight favorite or at worst completely dominated. My question is why go with this situation when he could have easily folded, had 70,000 in chips, roughly 23 BBs. Plenty of room to find a better than coin flip situation and/or chip up using the fold equity, through raising and reraising, that his stack offers.

Hand against Tmay - Deep in UB $200K
Just curious about what you guys thought about Tmay's call in this spot. It is apparent that he put me on AK, just curious how he can make this call here under the circumstances that I hadn't been playing back at him or getting too out of line at the table. Also this was my second repop since he had been at the table (probably 1.5 hrs). So, this wasn't a common move I had been making. I personally know that I would play 88-JJ maybe even QQ the same way here (Obv he doesn't know that). However, I feel that this is the typical range of most players in my spot including AK. Also, I am aware that ...

I agree, it would be nice to have MTT schedule for the sites that qualify w/ the rankings. Or if that is too much just have a schedule of tournaments that qualify w/ the rankings.

Couple interesting hands, one against Arbianight from $150+13 FTP DS
1. I am well aware that he is a very good player, but the check call could be a wide range of aces that don't have me beat in which he could lead in so that he doesn't have to commit a lot of chips with a check raise. So I mad the call on the turn to freeze him hoping he would check a weak ace behind and I would reevaluate if he shoved or made another bet. However, the J came on the river which would trump a weak two pair so I felt obligated to look him up. Let me know what you guys think. 2. Here I decided to lead because I don't like to let my opponent just cbet w/ a wide ...
