Starting a roll on stars
got a ~800 roll Was thinking about focusing on cash prolly 25nl and then doin small mtt's no higher than 5 sparringly. I really started the thread to see if this was a good Idea or should I shoot higher or possibly lower...I've read the bankroll management articles, I would just like to hear ppl's opinions and also I'm really confused as to when to move up

Well the same can be said for both players at any given time. One could go up and one goes down but the wins and losses offset each other. My best friend and I combine bankrolls we gring micro stakes right now and its really comforting to know that I dont have to do all the grinding although egos do get in the way, when someone has a big day

Depending on who it is youcould be ahead of alot of the time. Someone with a PP can figure if there are two Aces on the board the less likely it is for you to have one. So a shove might push you off a weaker hand.

Good advice poison I havent had a job since i've been in college because I never felt like slaving myself for 30 or 40 dollars a day, but I have looked into it and just couldn't put in that application lol, and like Duffy All I want to do is pay off my student loans and I cant hit the lotto on this site cuz the biggest tourney is only 750 lol

I want to know how you balance school, poker, and social life' I myself am deciding tos tart grinding on a small site as Ive been makin some profits there. And I am just wondering how I can balance my life in school and still show some nice volume while gettin enough study time as well

I think the 4 tables because there's more opportunities for bigger hands and the skill jump between the two levels I think is pretty significant

looking for advice
This guy has been pushing in the SB and BB almost everytime there's been a raise and he seems to be doing it with alot of crazy hands and then I'm in the hand with this i was figuring he would do anything but push since he's done it 4 times already but he does it again...
