good friends from high school
there is a group of 10-15 guys that we have been friends since grade school. I see them all on a reg basis even though i live 100 miles from most of them. and we always have 1-3 guy trips/vacations a year. the fact most are married we all have kids about the same age so we have family get togheters a few timmes a year to.

Relatiionships and finance
if you dont live together whats yours is yours and hers hers. if you live together should be 50/50 for common bills. married = you put it all 1 accounct and share. and in your situation i would be paying for dinners and whatever, if you cant afford it just tell her that. my .02

chipleader in a 1R, whats a better way to play this hand?
its a dollar tourney,,,,villian as u said plays all the hands. so as i see it he either had u beat already or AXss hit on the river. not much u can do different. i play these things all the time and they are very frustrating to say the least. maybe make pot bets on flop and turn might help but u just dont know unless u have history on the player,,,,,,gotta be very very lucky to get to ft in these tourneys

legally i dont have any connection to the property, its in the divorce decree and was approved by the courts. Technically though because my name is still on the original loan the bank doesnt care what the court documents say, all they care is that my name is still on the loan. That is the part that is a grey area for me because the court records show i gave up all rights to the property and she is soley resoponsible for it. Now that the loan is due in full she has to refinance it. This would take my name of it completely. The bank is willing to keep the original loan in place because she is ...

Matt, so what you are saying is even though legally i have no connection to the loan or lake property other than the fact my name is on the current loan. the bank could come after the trust fund that i have set up for the kids since my name is on the loan' and the trust fund would consist of life ins, IRA, and other funds.

i will try to make this as short as possible. i think i already know the answer but not 100% sure. im asking for input from you all if you have any experience in this before i spend more money on lawyer fees. got divorced 3 yrs ago ex and I split everything 50/50. we had purchased some lake property while married and took a home equity loan out to pay the 20% down on a 250k loan since there was no house/cabin on the property. Then had a 5yr ballon loan on the remaing 80% of total purchase price. so when the dust settled from the divorce i ended up with the house and the home equity loan and ...

Ever nit it up like this?
must be the doom swith thing.... i have had two days of that shit. build a stack in first hour or two. them all of the sudden its like j2 every fn hand. I was getting somewhat deep in the 3r the other night and i sat for 2fn hours with out a hand that i could play,,,,if i had played any of them i never even came close to the flop. same thing tonight. built up a stack to 20k first hour in the 3r and could not get squat afterwards....i tilted and started raising everything.....that didnt last too long.

funny how you changed the names in the hh....when i first looked at it you had some other players name holding AA then when i posted on it, you edited your post with the correct player holding AA. nice try bud, maybe somebody here will take the time to look you up.............fail

refinancing question
no my credit and all that stuff is in excellent shape....im already approved just have to go in and do the paper work. If i was unable to work i could still pay my bills. I was just curious if they asked if you had "cancer" or some other life threating desease that you could be denied. I dont want to go in and get shut down cuz i have health issues. thanks for the input!!!

Cancer vs Suicide
i think you should have the choice to live or die. i currently have cancer and its not going so good and it probably will not be long before i meet my maker. but i will not take myself out, im going to fight this fn bastard right to the end. im in so much pain every day the thought does cross your mind, but i have two young kids to fight for and lots of friends and family. Sad story, may your friend RIP
