Bodog Software up date.. Just to clarify, Calvin sold the gambling operations to Alwyn Morris of MMGG back in late 2006, shortly after the UIGEA was passed. Calvin has always owned the bodog brand name however (have a look at for more info) and he licenses out the brand to other companies, mostly gaming operators. Some examples include Bodog Network, Bodog UK, and Bodog Asia. With regards to Bovada, MMGG did not renew their license with so they rebranded the gambling site but everything else is exactly the same. The bodog brand name is no longer in the US market. Does this make sense' Thanks! Becky Posted in: Poker Sites |

Merge and Bovada (Bodog) Deposits & Cashouts Just to clarify, the Bodog Brand left the US market on December 14th. Bovada.LV is the new domain used by Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MMGG) now that their license to use the bodog brand has expired. If you're located in the US, I recommend that you give Bovada CS a call if you have any questions about payouts. Thanks! Becky Posted in: Poker Sites |

Bodog leaves US market - now Bovada.lv Hey guys, As you know the Bodog Brand left the US market yesterday- Bodog.eu was rebranded to Bovada.lv and is now completely independent from the bodog brand licensees (check the bodog wikipedia page for more on this). This means that I will not be your point of contact for anything Bovada related as I only work for Bodog, so I recommend that you call their CS should have any questions or concerns. As always, I'm here to help anyone playing on bodog branded websites and/or to answer questions about any organization that is bodog branded, including Bodog Network. Thank you! Dear DOJ: Please Shut Bodog Down Bodog brand is no longer in the US market... Becky This is not true. Bodog Network security policies haven’t changed and they will continue to flag any suspicious account activity and take action on these players. Colluding players can NOT sit together, they are removed from the site, and funds are confiscated. If you observe anything that looks suspicious, please call CS and provide the table name, the seat and hand numbers you’d like them to investigate. Thank you! Becky Posted in: Bad Beats |

Bodog leaves US market - now Bovada.lv Hey Jim, I never ever use templates- apologies, "16" instead of "17 years" was my own human error. Regardless, can you please send me your account number and I'll ask a Senior CS Manager to look into your payout' Thanks so much, Becky Posted in: Poker Sites |

Bodog leaves US market - now Bovada.lv Yes, of course. This is NAME CHANGE we are talking about- nothing more, nothing less. The company that has owned and run the bodog.eu software & operations since late 2006 (MMGG) will continue to operate as normal, just under a new brand name. Your funds will be transferred to the newly branded site and you can request a payout anytime. Please let me know if you have any more questions about this, Becky None of the bodog brand licensees are criminals. Bodog.eu has never missed a payout in the 16 years they have been in business! Have you tried calling CS about this payout' Regardless, ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

Bodog Software up date.. The bodog BRAND NAME is leaving the US market at the end of the year but the company that owns and runs the bodog.eu software and operations (MMGG) will continue to operate as normal, just under a new brand name. We're essentially talking about a name change here. The rebranded site will also be a part of the Bodog Network. Thanks, Becky Posted in: Poker Sites |

betonline.com's poker room Bodog.eu is not having any issues, the problem here is that the US laws cause industry wide issues when it comes to payouts. I can assure you that you'll receive your money, all you have to do is give CS a call and they will reimburse any related fees and either re-issue you another check or find another way to get you paid. Thank you, Becky Posted in: Poker Sites |

Bodog Transition?? Bodog Becky, details please Hey guys! All the details of the Dec 31 name change will be communicated to you very clearly and in advance notice, I promise. What I can tell you in the meantime is that you will notice very little difference as we're essentially talking about a name change here. Also, the newly branded MMGG site (MMGG is the company that owns and runs the bodog.eu operations) will join the Bodog Poker Network so the poker experience will be very similar as well. :) Becky Posted in: Poker Sites |

Bodog no longer accepting US Players? I suggest that you give Bodog CS a call anytime that you notice something bizarre with the software. Also, to confirm, Bodog.eu is still accepting US players. The Bodog Brand is leaving the US market at the end of the year, but the company that owns bodog.eu (MMGG) will simply rebrand the site and continue to accept US players as always. Thanks!
