closer to time we will all pick 5 tournaments (from the wcoop). you obviously pick what you think you will do best in. Then the point system will be much like the sunday contest except all 5 tournaments will count. u pick the tournaments up front.

Everyone is making their own bet, ill throw mine into the ring. You pick 5 tournaments ahead of time (posted in a thread etc.). Point system is from sunday contest. $1000 buy-in. 1-20 players- winner take all 20-100 players- 75% first, 25% second 100+ players- 50% first, 20% second, 10% third, 7.5% fourth, 2.5% fifth. I am also interested in doing a sidebet up to 10k, pick between 3-6 WCOOP events. (point system from sunday contest).

Unfortunately, PocketFives is a community full of the best online poker players. We do not discriminate against trash (including in the rankings). In this online world, it is very hard to have a fair backing deal (obviously). Duff is a class-act. I have never met him but I trust him. Unfortunately, he may or may not deserve this trust. I believe Duff (being a great guy, good-natured etc.) decided this fellow (or as i would call him, asswipe) was a decent fellow. Duff was wrong. im afraid they wont be making the guar for a few weeks because they are running many sats to the WCOOP. on a side note. i believe all the WCOOP events will nearly double and sometimes triple the guar. AND the price of W$ will go through the roof.

"best" call ever? or biggest idiot ever?
Lalor Defends Her Big Blind A player under-the-gun raises to $25,000, another player in early position calls and Debra Lalor calls from the big blind. The flop is . Lalor checks, the under-the-gun player checks, and the other player moves all-in for $121,000. Lalor makes the call from the big blind and she's all-in. The other player folds. Lalor shows while her opponent shows . The turn and river offer no help to the opponent and Lalor doubles up to $310,000. i wouldnt call that defending ur big blind. i would call that the worst call in poker.

they arent going to start sats for 7-15 (u know what i mean) for a little while. they are still perfecting the satellites to the other events. they figure they cant be running 8 daily sats for each tourn (15 total). give it some time. still month and a half before it stars.

Fri Aug 04 12:55:00 PDT 2006 Brutal Beat for David McCarty David McCarty and Dean Whittaker get all of their chips in the middle on a flop of A-A-9. McCarty has A-9 while Whittaker has A-Q. McCarty will need to avoid three remaining Queens to double up. Sure enough, the Queen that hits the turn leaves McCarty drawing dead and eliminates him early on Day 3. u know drawing dead, except the other 2 queens in the deck to split.
