Re:Attn: Successful Grinders Polish Off Your Resumes (or make one to begin with) This is your opinion, be careful not to state it as fact. I am a finance professional, and a semi-professional player - look up my stats if you like. Poker on a resume is a very risky idea. You should know as much as possible about the corporate culture of the company and the "climate" ie what is thought of as acceptable norms, and go from there. While I agree that it can help some professional resumes, be careful because it can hurt you just as much, know your opponent! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Keep the new $162 for sunday stars... This new $162 @4PM EST is the best thing to happen to stars afternoon schedule since they decided to throw in the $109 turbo r/a a while back. It fills a huge hole in the afternoon between the 50r @3:15 and the $55 f/o @5PM. The previous $109 r/a turbo was nice, but the mtt as mentioned completes the afternoon schedule. Agree ++with threeeven that the evening $162 should be left there on sunday nights as it fills a void in the schedule for eveyone that doens't play the $200r. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:how do i know when to move up? The bankroll mgmt articles on here are good. Read them. There is so much variance in mtt's that you truly need a deep roll to keep from going busto. I prefer to have at least 150-200 buyins at any particular level and that is as low as I would go, but then again I hate to be broke... With a $400 roll you should be playing $4.40/180's and even then you still run the risk of ruin. The absolute worst thing you could do is make some progress building your roll and then start playing higher, it is a recipe for disaster that I'm sure so many players on this forum have faced (obv me ... Re:WWYD AK OOP 3bet bigger pre to like 5Kish... if you str8 shove pre it allows him to play perfectly vs your range, which sucks (as in he folds garbage and AT-AQ/KQ and prs 22-99orTT if he's tight)... then you can shove flop (you will have 1PSB), or check shove a flop you crush... Re:NEED MANY OPIONIONS ON THE FAIRNESS/REALNESS OF SITES PLEASE VOICE OPINION. When I read the post one question just kept coming to mind... Why is it that losing players are usually in the "it's rigged" camp, and winning players are almost always firmly convinced that it isn't' Is this a coincidence' I think not...
